Previous versions of 2.9.2 caused a percentage of Pures to be nonoperable. They re-released another version of 2.9.2 that seem to solve the problem.
Has your car been offered another software update?

Since updating to 2.9.0, SiriusXM songs are occasionally skipping ahead (or back) in the middle of a song with no prompt. This has happened to me lot since the update.

2024 AT-for me the update has not improved Bluetooth calling, still unusable. One of the biggest disappointments with Air. Frequency of CarPlay failing to launch has increased. Never before seen front radar failure-I think- has appeared twice. Logo reboot right after update.

I’m gonna throw in my two cents here. Since there has been a recent history of software issues both in the Gravity and the Air that have gotten public attention, I think that Lucid could benefit from a public relations reset. There’s a motto among trial lawyers: never ask a question in court that you don’t already know the answer to. I think this should apply to software updates as well. My understanding is that there’s another Gravity OTA coming soon. My suggestion and hope is that they go way beyond the usual on testing and verification. Test it again and again on every hardware configuration that there is. When they’re 110% sure, release it with no prior hints, leaks, or fanfare. Then come out with another 2.9 release for the Air. Introduce at least one new feature. Test it again and again before releasing it — again with no prior hints, leaks, or fanfare. That way there will be two software releases in a row with no significant problems. This ought to go a long way towards shutting up the trolls and naysayers, increase the confidence of loyal customers, and probably be a morale boost for Lucid internally. I say this is an owner and a stockholder with fervent wishes that Lucid has a long and bright future. If other companies want to have OTA releases that are buggy, they can go right ahead. Let Lucid stand out as the company that doesn’t. (And if Apple and Microsoft would like to follow suit on this suggestion, that might be good…)

This started for me about two months ago. I was on 2.8.12 at the time. The move to 2.8.30 and then 2.9.0 on the same day, at first, seemed to fix that problem. But the last two days have had it happen a few times.

Unfortunately no, I have been checking every hour since yesterday morning, called care team this morning, no update offered

Exactly my point? 2.8.17/18 was only issued as part of a safety recall.

And update bricking cars is about as bad as it can get. Lucid announced it affected a subset of owners and a fix was made within 24 hours (although some didn’t get it, unfortunately). This doesn’t diminish the severity. I’m sure Lucid wishes it hadn’t happened and will address how to prevent this in the future. Affected owners are understandably upset and we rightfully should expect Lucid to do better .

I’ll let the evidence (9 other updates - thanks for the correction @Hammerthyme) speak for itself as to whether or not this is indicative of Lucid’s ability to roll out updates since the software leadership change (it wasn’t replacing the entire software team).

Has been on WiFi with connectivity since the update just fine. Tried signing out and couldn’t sign back in. Power cycled the TCU by unplugging and that fixed it.

This happened to mine last week but resolved after the car slept off the hangover. But how did you unplug the TCU? I didn't realize that it was accessible to the drivers.

I have not update, still on 2.8.30 (23 Pure AWD). On Friday after a bike ride I got in to drive home, radio was on I could not mute. Tried X, mike,brake reset and it would not reset (tried multiple times). I had no icons next to audio display (audio, nav, and whatever else is to the left of the audio display). I could not mute or adjust audio volume. Drove home, parked the car. When I returned Sunday everything was fine.

Never had infotainment issues before. I've only had to reset once before in 2 years and 44k miles.

Just another data point.

I've had a couple of audio issues like that too. But they all resolved themselves after sleep or a reset. And AFAIK none were related to a software update. Yours might have been a coincidence in the timing.
