Air Version 2.9.0

New quirk in my car after the update- I keep the steering wheel high as a preference. As a result, the camera is always blocked so I have the drowsy and distracted driver warnings turned off in the DD settings. Since I updated, the drowsy driver warning keeps turning itself back on each day forcing me to manually turn it off again. Anyone else having this issue?

Just to add a positive note. The dreaded red triangle showed up on my 2023 Air Touring just over a week ago now. I called Rutherford Service Center. It was late in the day and I was promised a quick response by the morning. The next morning I had a call from the King of Prussia Service Center. Rutherford had called them to see if by any chance they could see my car sooner. KOP immediately arranged for my car to be picked up and for me to get a a rental. I received an initial call from KOP the day the car was to be transported with details about the pickup. From then on I received an update every day about the status. After 2 days, they said the engineers had agreed there was a problem with my high voltage battery. I was told they had one in stock and would begin the process to replace my battery. No haggling or pressure on my part was needed. It was as simple as the battery was faulty; it was under warranty; it was to be replaced. Within a week I had my car back, and turned in the Mercedes rental (gladly). Hats off to Lucid for standing behind their product for a very expensive repair and making it painless for me. Hats off to Alex at Rutherford for reaching out to KOP for more timely service. Hats off to Dana and the service team at KOP, plus the consulting engineers, for a quick diagnosis and remediation with excellent communication throughout the process. That has reinforced my loyalty and my eagerness to see the Cosmos.

Hi all. My 24 Air Pure recently decided to stop connecting to LTE and WiFi. There are a few reported instances of this on the forum. No amount of software reboots can fix this, and all users that have posted about this had to bring their car in for service to address this. After dealing with this for a few days, and the service only offering to see the car in ~3 weeks, I found a simple solution myself.

I read about a report or two that the technician fixed this super quickly after crawling in the back seat. Here is the solution you can try yourself if you face this issue.

Some of us in the United States have not been offered either update yet. I'm not convinced they're not rolling it out in batches and waiting to see if anything happens...😁

Yup ... still haven't been offered the update. I typically get them fairly quickly. 23 Air Touring here.

A post on the 2.9.2 thread said that it is paused. It seems like it is. And I think that is to everyone’s benefit. I think the folks in Newark are getting out some triple strength insecticide. Remember the old advertising slogan, “Black Flag kills bugs dead!“

SO the 2.9.0 and 2.9.2 are broken SW versions? Come on I am driving the 2.8.3, an Voice assistant ist broken (not working, popups permanently coming that sw is onstalling or installation was aborted since 2 months!!"!) The lower central disolay also resetting. Come on....that shold be somehow repared. But nothing happens!
 
I don't think that 2.9.0 is broken or paused. From reading this thread it was being rolled out in batches. I got mine and have no issues with it. I believe that the 2.9.2 was only for Air Pure since the 2.9.0 bricked their cars. The 2.9.2 was the fix for that.

If you are on something fairly old, it would probably be a good idea to call customer care.

Anecdotally, I think it's paused. My update failed, and it was pushed to my car again within a day or two. That update failed as well, and then it was pushed a third time. That failed yet again and it hasn't been pushed since.

Clearly I'm in "the batch". If it's not paused, then it's irrevocably broken. Pick your poison.

Really hard to tell on that message, but there was no 2.8.3, just 2.8.30 according to OTA Updates. It would seem the number 3 is different from 30. Come on! :)
 
As much as I would love to play Russian Roulette with my Lucid software, I think I'll wait on 2.9 for a while. Any software team that bricks a part of a fleet doesn't have my confidence. Really worried about the future of Lucid.
