So, that's all fine and the car is great-everything works. I have not yet received the 2.8.30 update. From reading this forum, I see it can take a couple of weeks for it to roll out to everyone. I am somewhat concerned it may not update due to the "glitch."
Two questions:
1. What's a reasonable amount of time to wait before contacting customer care. I do not want to be a pest. 2 weeks? 3?
2. Is there anything to the idea of driving to the service center and connecting to their WiFi to force the update? It's not too far from me and I wouldn't mind taking a ride.

Contact your service center. Don’t just drive there, let your service advisor coordinate it with the techs who will do the job, it’s a minor job and they should be able to do it quickly. They will update it manually, they download the software using an RJ45 connection in the trunk, not through their WiFi. It’s a same-day job, as long as they act on it promptly.

It would be good if they gave details of fixes and new features. Wonder when they will roll out FSD. I have dream drive pro so it will be free.

I agree I am totally happy with my Lucid as is with the exception of V2H which was promised to me in late 2021 as being "available very soon". So this Fall it will be five years since "available very soon" which has been repeated multiple times.

My 2022 Air GT has been a fantastic Grand touring vehicle really no issues that were meaningful in nearly 4 yrs
Perfect for a 4 hr highway cruise and quick top off of electricity and back home in a day or 2

I am on 2.8.12 and was told by the SC that it was the latest for vehicles with AD01, whatever that is. They had updated it for me on 1/30/26. That version (2.8.12) is not even listed on the above website. I do not see the .30 version listed for me.

We love this car. It is the best I have ever driven and I am 71yo, so I have driven a lot.

Don't care about V2H as we have a backup generator. Would love it if they did sentry mode camera recording. Other than that, when we bought this car, we bought it for what it was, not what it might become.
 
Still waiting for the update. Sounds like it is an underwhelming one but fomo is real.
 
Also, is Lucidtracker app offline? I don’t see any data on there - all gone. 🤷🏽‍♂️

With these incremental updates I just hope for fewer glitches.
 
Tested .30 on my drive to work this AM and DDP didn't nag me once.Everything else felt normal.
It's great.

There is some ISP related issues going on with the hosting provider where the site hosted. AT&T seems to be one of those ISP’s. The site is operational but the data isn’t being presented to everyone.

The hosting provider said it should be resolved but need to wait for the fixes to propagate across the internet

Again I could be wrong on the camera stuff, not to say I don't love my Lucid, always talk it up, find excuses to drive it anywhere.
Whenever out and about and someone approaches me with "what kind of car is that", I usually bend their ear to the point they are squirming to get away.

The camera recording thing I remember them saying they could do on Air, but at a cost to battery that may be higher than folks expect.

Even on my Tesla when I had it, I found sentry mode ate too much battery to protect me when I needed it most. Like when I parked at the airport for a week. I’d end up coming home to a battery that didn’t have enough juice to get home.

But I get why people like it for the day to day stuff. And it should be doable.

Personally, what I would want is dash cam functionality. Just record into a buffer while driving and save when you detect an incident of any kind, back 30 seconds or so. That would be super useful for insurance purposes.

Sentry mode is not going to help you with most city cops. They just don’t care enough to track down vandals in most cases.

My guess is if they add anything like this, it’ll be after UX 3.0 ships, since that already exists for Gravity. Why rewrite it for the old stack?

V2H is definitely the big one they actually “promised” but never delivered. But they just again reiterated that it’s coming during their investor day presentation.
 
Are lots of people getting 2.8.30? I normally would have an update by now, but nothing so far.

Got it a couple of hours ago. Haven't driven it yet. Went a long time displaying 0% downloaded.. then suddenly jumped to 50% where it sat for awhile, then it was done. Whole process was around 11 mInutes. I assume my phone was losing contact with the car as it updated, but it wasn't too elegant. (Or robust). Hopefully some good fixes, especially reduction of nags.
