I think the metal roof will be body colored. At least, that is what I see when I played with the on-line configurator.

We also know that some of the interior materials is downgraded from the GT (no alcantara and different grade leather) and it may be that it is downgraded further from the Touring.
If it’s true that the RWD Air has just 16 battery modules, that would make the charging system 16 x 42v, or 672v.

And if that's the case I would just cancel my reservation.

I wrote to my SA with a number of questions. Waiting for the reply and will update this thread as soon as I hear back.

It’s my guess / assumption that the Pure details are not finalized and will be released closer to the actual release of that model.

It needs 18 modules = 90-95kWh depending on the amount Lucid assigns to battery reserve. At an expected efficiency of 4.3m/kWh it should be able to travel 400 miles on a full charge. As I recall 400 is the number Lucid has published for the Pure.

Just received an update from my SA:
me:
"one more question, is blind spot detection/view standard with Dream Drive? Or is that a Dream Drive Pro feature? And what about Highway Lane assist?
And if I upgrade to Dream Drive Pro, would I be able to keep the same price for the upgrade as before as my reservation is from last year?"

him:
"Blind spot detection and highway assist are standard features of DreamDrive. If you decide to upgrade to DreamDrive Pro, you will be able to upgrade at the original pricing. "

What is highway assist? Drive in current lane or will it turn on freeway to pass too?

From the discussions I've seen on the forum, I believe High Way Assist will keep you in your lane on long drives

someone correct me if I'm wrong

I made an Air Pure reservation before June 1st. I see my total is $5000 more than what it should be given my selections.

Air Pure 77400
Red color 800
20" tire 1500
Surreal Sound 2900

The total should be $82,600 but it shows $87,600.

Is this about RWD vs. AWD? Even though AWD was not among the available choices, is it possible that all Air Pure might be AWD?

AWD

AWD is 5k and it does appear to be adding that into the price even though it is not a line item. It’s the same on my reservation. It would be correct at time of order and you will choose between AWD and RWD. All options are finalized with your DA when you place your order.

In the owner Manual online
  • note: Some models may come equipped with Power Opening and Closing Hood systems. (on page 33)
  • Some Lucid Air models are equipped with power sunshades in the rear window and both rear passenger windows. (on page 31)
I may need to upgrade. Does the Touring have these features?
I would be surprised if the power shades are included on the Touring. Unless Lucids approach is keep the hardware in the cars consistent across the line but save the money in battery and motor reduction and performance.

Why do you keep posting the same question in different strings?

We know for sure Touring has the power trunk and frunk. That was demoed in the latest Lucid video with Rawlinson.

I don’t know about sun shades. Haven’t heard anyone say anything about that. But I sure hope Touring has them. It doesn’t have massaging seats, so we know hardware can vary from model to model.

But sun shades are such a nice touch. Wouldn’t be a deal breaker not to have them, but I’d be pretty disappointed.

Power shades are available on all trims.

I don’t see the word “power” in the response So was the question really answered? Are they all powered or are some manual.
see: "automatic"

My question he was answering:
Can you clarify whether the automatic sunshades in the back will be included in the Touring, or if that's an exclusive feature to Grand Touring and above?

Anyone find out if heated seats come standard?

I believe front heated seats are standard.

Touring+ has backseat heated seats, and ventilated front seats.
