Has anyone removed the aero inserts on the GGT 20/21 wheels? It looks like the instructions in the owners manual are not for the 20/21s.

At delivery, the delivery specialist said it wasn’t something that the owner can do themselves, it requires a service call. But I’d like to avoid that if I can.

Maybe I am thinking of something else, but I thought the aero inserts just snapped on and off. If they don't how would one change the tire if you get a flat.
 
The 20/21s do not. I don’t have a picture handy but the lugs are accessible even with the aero inserts in. It’s not like one large aero cover. It’s like 5 small blades. I think you actually have to take the lugs off to remove them but I’m not sure.

You can remove them from the other side of the wheel. Tbh, it's not worth it, lol - they don't look super great without them, imho. Service should be able to do it for you though.

The 21/22 and 22/23 wheels have owner-removable aero covers.

Here are pictures of mine. If I remove the aero blades I can access the lugs. The aero blades just snap in and out.

They are not. The Gravity wheels have exposed lugs.

Speaking of the 21/22s. I’m thinking of removing mine. Anybody got a sense of the range hit?

I took mine off, I would say it was minimal, maybe 10 miles or so. Going to get better data in December for our bigger road trips.

Here they are removed from the 21/22 wheels.
 
Those 20/21s actually look pretty cool with the covers removed. I might have gone with those had I known what they look like uncovered.
