This is certainly no big deal, but I'm curious... I am still on free EA charging. For the last few months, every time I plug in at EA, I get a notication on the pilot panel that the 'plug & play' service is disabled, and that I will have to pay. I then have to open the app and select the charging station I'm at. When I do, charging reliably proceeds at the $0.00 rate. So, no big deal, but it this a bug, or just the way it always is now? This used to happen once in a while, but now it happens all the time. It may be useful to know that I have NOT ever activated the 'Lucid Charging - Base Plan' upgrade. (I never have for fear that it will defer to charging me if there is any glitch such as this.)

This is why it’s happening.

...but I went a long time after the upgrade appeared without this problem. Do you have any experience to indicate that doing the upgrade will not interfere with my free charging? Or, do you know if this is something that I can turn off or uninstall if I do have a problem? (I can just picture the fun of trying to chase after Lucid's back office to get reimbursement for an errant charge.)

It’s possible they added an error message in a recent update. When I had free charging, it was still free, even after signing up, but I haven’t had free charging in a long time so cannot test it today.

Perhaps @marqie or another owner can confirm that’s how it still works.
