7 seater option decreases range only on the Grand Touring, but not Touring?

I was playing around with the Lucid Gravity configurator https://lucidmotors.com/configure/gravity and noticed something peculiar. Only on the Grand Touring will upgrading to 7 seats decrease the range. But on the Touring time, the number of seats does not affect the range. How can it defy the laws of physics?

Configuration for Both​

• 20"/21" inch wheels

Grand Touring​

• 5 seater: 450 miles
• 7 seater: 437 miles

Touring​

• 5 seater: 337 miles
• 7 seater: 337 miles

Pretty sure the number is incorrect on the site for the touring.

The big drop for GGT between 5 and 7 seat version is do to the weight increasing to the next EPA weight class (500 lb increments).

For the GT it is likely both the 5 and 7 seat versions fall into the same EPA weight class.

No it’s 301. Just check the available inventory. However, the Touring looses almost 26 miles whereas GT looses only 13 miles. That’s puzzling to me.

You posted a listing for a car with larger wheels. The wheels cost the 26 miles. The 7 seats cost nothing.

I think you're misreading the OP like I did.
Yes, there is a range difference, based on seating, with the GGT.
The OP is stating that there isn't a difference in range, based on seating, with the GT
