Yes. 2.35.08. Actually, one of my key fobs was up to date, one not - so, no, you do not have to update the keyfob if it is current.

CarPlay looking great! Going for a ride later to test it out! I'm psyched!!
 
My car was updating so had to take the wife’s for an errand. Now I can’t wait to get home!!!
 
I'm a bit nervous this is going to crush my already pathetic L2 charging. Prove me wrong Lucid!

Pretty sure if a key fob update was needed then Lucid would put it in the release notes to do so.
