Nick Twork on Twitter all but confirmed that Air won’t be getting many updates until 3.0 hits. And I believe I heard Emad Dlala say that we should expect 3.0 in late summer early fall. Just wanted to put all of this in one place as it is all updated info today.

Honestly if they would just tighten up the bug causing the audio to pause randomly I could wait happily. That one bug kills me!

Lucid eventually gets there, but given past performance can be expected not to meet its stated deadlines for stuff like this. I don't really care about new features in UX 3, I just want the remaining gremlins gone (looking at you, crashy Spotify).
 
It makes sense. My understanding is it’s a complete code rewrite so what would you rather? Them continuing to work on features and updates for redundant code or call it quits and focus the time and resources on the new UX which in itself will deliver new features to Air owners.

I would assume Air is in limited support mode until Summer/Fall when UX3.X is coming to Air
 
“We are moving to less frequent” aren't we already receive updates less frequent and new futures almost 3 to 6months frequent?
Does this mean we are switching to 6 to 12month frequent 😂.

Anyhow this is first Lucid official communicating about R3.0 to public, which is very welcoming 😀
 
I'm not hot to get 3.0. My Air works beautifully and is fully featured. I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything, and I really don't want to go through a couple of rounds of bug fixes with a new UI.

I feel like Lucid's approach to software development has improved since they put Diala in charge.
 
Also, Emad/Jason mentioned mentioned about CCV2 chip for the 3.0 which means for people who do not update the chip won’t get any further updates

This is what I was looking for. I'll be updating my chip soon but I've been holding out all hope for the powers to be to offer it in the rewards store before I'm forced to shell out the cash. I still have 100,000's of thousands points worth over 1.3M in store credit that I still need to use and have nothing to use them on.

No further updates, or no further features? These are two very different things.
 
I updated my chip right at the outset but I'm wondering what "features" the Gravity has that the Air doesn't? Just curious but I will always update to whatever Lucid offers in the future.

Being able to have navigation up top and music down on the lower screen is the big one. Or Whatever combination of apps you want.

Also, Gravity just got that nifty feature where you can see under your car in the 360 view.
 
The top/bottom use of various apps is appealing but not sure what I'm looking for under my car??
 
Multi tasking between the top and bottom screens is huge. My wife’s groan each time she selects Spotify up top and remembers she has to swipe it to the lower screen in order to search is so loud! 😆 For the sake of my marriage please Lucid solve that!

That is by far the feature that I look forward to the most for my Air. Cannot wait, I really hope becomes a reality.

You probably know this, but you don't have to swipe down from the top screen. In that scenario, just hit the very top of the Pilot Screen (you will see what I mean), and will bring that app in the pilot panel right below.

The problem is, the last time I asked for a chip upgrade, I was told it won't be available in Europe. I'll ask them tomorrow. Maybe it helps if I ask them every week

It seems like we ask and ask @marqie about getting CCCv2 (and other items) on the Rewards Store, and are assured that the question will be raised, but we never get a definitive answer. I imagine that despite @marqie indeed trying, but getting nowhere for the effort, we are seeing Lucid's way of saying no.
