Hi everyone, long time lurker first time poster. I’ve been following Lucid over the past year and am enamored with the reviews so strongly considering taking the plunge and buying one. Looking at prices and with depreciation a very real thing prices for models mentioned are almost identical. My question is: what would I be missing with Pure vs AGT? Is AGT that much better? For reference I’ll be utilizing as DD for medical school, round trip just over 100 miles/day (almost exclusively highway) and I tend to hold onto my vehicles for at least 5 years. I also have 3x little ones, but they will hardly ride in it (especially all at once). Thanks in advance for the advice!

Ok I am sure this will piss some people off? But I bought a pure ten days ago.. and I love it.. it’s quick , fun to drive, and smoother.. runs nearly silent.. I like the body color roof as opposed to the two tone look.

Thread '2025 Air Touring or should I go up to GT?'

I am about to pull trigger to order a Touring. However, when it comes to seat option I am kinda stuck.

After trying several seat configurations, I felt the adjustable bolster (side support for lower back) really elevates the sense of sportiness,
with Touring the 20 way seat only comes with Purluxe.

I don't mind Purluxe material, but with it the dash, center console and door trim only comes in fabric which is not my favourite.

Is it worth it to upgrade to GT for the the above reason alone? I don't need 820hp, nor the range as I can charge at home every night,
GT would scarify slight...

Yes! Make sure the GT was kept in good condition and had all recalls done, and you should be good.

And make sure it has up-to-date software. That is very important. Make sure it is on 2.5.0 or later.

Thank you! SW version is 2.5 so we’re good on that front. Anything else I should check out before pulling the trigger? The tires look good, no bubbling noticed. This dealer is not very familiar with Lucid, when asking about service/recalls they’re left fumbling through CARFAX and other reports which are lacking. Do you believe LCC would be able to give me that information prior to purchasing?

It doesn't hurt to try.. Provide them the VIN.. I would take GT anyday as long as it's in good condition

Reached out to LCC yesterday, unfortunately since I am not the account holder they would not provide any information on the Pure. Informed the dealership I would like any service records/recalls the car may have. Since I’ve been waiting I’m strongly considering purchasing the GT, but may not be able to get eyes on the vehicle before purchasing. I would have NEVER thought of doing this before, but with most issues being fixed with OTAs and mobile techs being available I’m considering pulling the trigger before it’s too late and it gets away. TLDR: would you buy a higher mileage (~32k miles) ‘22 GT without driving or viewing in person if it had a clean CarFax?
