21 speaker locations

My angst over this is long gone but what I see are 21 drivers and not 21 speakers. Speakers consist of one or more drivers to provide the full range of sound. Most speakers are either two- or three-way in that they have two or three drivers to provide the full spectrum of audible sound. Given that distinction, there are not 21 speakers in the Air with SSP. That notwithstanding, once I got my sound system upgraded (removing something from the woofers), the bass response improved significantly. All in all, I love my Air Touring.

The biggest instant upgrade was the butyl tape of the woofers behind the dash! I literally can't believe how much bass comes from there now, especially with the recruitment of Robert Windel from Apple and his audio software update.

Maybe this is auto industry speak as opposed to audio industry speak? A door panel speaker that has both a tweeter and a midrange driver referred to as two speakers in the auto world while in the audio world referred to as a single speaker with two drivers? Does it add up to 21 if you count it like that?
