I was one of the Lunar Titanium orders that got cancelled March 31st. I went ahead and got a white 2027 model order on April 1st, when the configurator opened up 27s. I didnt hear a peep from ANYONE from Lucid for a full month, so I bugged them for the last few days. I got a call from Tony yesterday and was "excited" to share my 2027 would start manufacturing in June....

WTH. Website said 6-8 weeks.

I shouldn't be surprised. It is Lucid.

None of the inventory comes close. I did order a full spec and everything in queue seems to be a mis mash of random configs (white exterior, tahoe interior, 20/21 wheels, all the packages). My guess they are running into component and supply issues.

In any event, disregard the 6-8 week promise.

Thought it said 8 to 12 weeks. I also ordered in early April. I was figuring June.

Gonna be a sick car tho. It’s a good white.

How long is manufacturing? Website notes 8 to 12 weeks for expected delivery. I also ordered white btw. Very excited for it.

I think it’s interesting that inventory is apparently high (from the sales call today) and they are adjusting production to match demand, but you can’t find the specs you want on what they have in inventory. Does this seem to be conflicting data?

I think they have a bunch of configurations nobody wants. I had that happen to me too. Ended up with features I didn’t want.

I thought the same. I look at the current 2027 inventory and wondered how they came up with this. I have a feeling it's all supply chain issues and whatever helps them make production numbers. I really wish they would focus on existing orders.

It is strange though. I would not take one from inventory because if I pay 150000 Euro for a car then I should not compromise an configuration.

I thought this too... but then Lucid shuttered MY2026 custom build orders before then cancelling all Lunar Titanium orders and offered an additional $5000 USD incentive (along with ~$10,500 other stacked incentives) for choosing an inventory vehicle. So I decided to find one that was somewhat close to spec and did a short term lease hoping to skip some early build SW bugs and let the factory work out any HW supply chain/early production issues before throwing down the cash to own outright. I see the additional cost of this as cheap insurance if the company tanks and I get to drive this awesome car in the meantime!...it's fun

We'll see what improvements they offer up in MY2028

Yeah I understand what you are saying and actually I have read your posts about the lunar titanium orders.
This discount is massive for sure. If it is close to what you have ordered then fine. Which specs did you now not get? Do you have a list or anything like that and maybe miss that even?

How are lease prices in the US? In Germany the factor is somewhat around 1.5 which is quite high. You can get an audi or other German cars currently for ,07-0,9 or so. That is such a difference

I wanted the Ojai Leather...got the Mojave synthetic interior instead (which is more prone to tears and punctures)
Also I wanted a 7 seater for picking up the grandkids from the airport but took a 5 seater for now.
Lastly, didn't really want the comfort package because I don't really care about soft close doors, rear window shades, or heated rear seats since my wife and I mostly drive up to the snow with them folded down with the large flat cargo area stuffed with ski bags and a large cooler or our inflatable kayak and camping gear in the summer but I figure the heated windshield wipers will be a plus as I have had issues in the past with them icing up on my Subaru

Leasing prices?...well w/o getting too political our current idiocracy isn't helping rates but it's a good time to not be visiting gas stations anymore so it's sort of worth it for me for 18months (my wife drives a Taycan so we have just eliminated our gasoline consumption).
Both cars are just super enjoyable to drive and we write the lease payments off on our taxes and get to hand the companies back their "old" technology at the end of the leases.

I was looking at inventory for a white Gravity given the end of month incentives in April. They have a ton of inventory upcoming but I'd call these inventory configurations absolutely random at best. Most don't even have the surreal sound pro. I would think that at least a good chunk of the vehicles would have it as I can't imagine settling on sound at this price point. Most are low options (black purluxe, no to minimal options, 5 seats, stealth???).

I'll keep holding out hope that an inventory vehicle eventually matches my needs (or close to) to take advantage of the incentives available, but at this rate, it does not appear like Lucid is learning from past mistakes and optioning these better for potential buyers.

Did they mention if it was Gravity and Air inventory that is high? I don’t think they produce many Air GT’s with DDP/SSP anymore. Rarely any on their website. Even rarer, have not seen a White Air with DDP/SSP/Stealth/19’s in ages.

I have to think it’s Gravity surplus, as AMP-1 flyovers show vast majority of production appears to Gravity.

Your build is one I really like as well. I have a black GGT but I still search for the white inventory! I’m not sure where you live but there are two in inventory now where the only major feature missing is dynamic handling. Otherwise amazing builds. 7 seat GGTs with DDP , SSP, premium interior albeit not leather, stealth, and CC and Tech packages. With the rear steering issues and air suspension potential issues, dynamic handling is not as must-have as I previously thought.

I saw the white in person on the road and it looks great! I typically don't like white cars but the Gravity looks fantastic.
Agreed. I'm not usually a fan of white cars either but I almost got the white Gravity.
