2027 order on Apr 1st. Now its a mid June start date

I wanted the Ojai Leather...got the Mojave synthetic interior instead (which is more prone to tears and punctures)
Also I wanted a 7 seater for picking up the grandkids from the airport but took a 5 seater for now.
Lastly, didn't really want the comfort package because I don't really care about soft close doors, rear window shades, or heated rear seats since my wife and I mostly drive up to the snow with them folded down with the large flat cargo area stuffed with ski bags and a large cooler or our inflatable kayak and camping gear in the summer but I figure the heated windshield wipers will be a plus as I have had issues in the past with them icing up on my Subaru

Leasing prices?...well w/o getting too political our current idiocracy isn't helping rates but it's a good time to not be visiting gas stations anymore so it's sort of worth it for me for 18months (my wife drives a Taycan so we have just eliminated our gasoline consumption).
Both cars are just super enjoyable to drive and we write the lease payments off on our taxes and get to hand the companies back their "old" technology at the end of the leases.
I understand. What is the factor in the states for leasing?
Oh that is a pitty that it is more prone..🙈 did not know that. However the ojaj is the quite expensive leather right?

With the rear steering issues and air suspension potential issues, dynamic handling is not as must-have as I previously thought.
What are the rear steering issues? I think I must have missed those threads if folks have had issues with it.

Agree on white.. I originally was thinking green or black, but now I think white and grey look pretty nice.

None to my knowledge. No suspension issues either 🤷‍♂️

I have had 'rear wheel steering unavailable' message exactly twice in 3000 miles of usage. Both times a reset put things right again. The only two times I have had to reset my car.

To clarify, no known actual issues with the functioning of the rear steer, but I’ve had many alert errors that were probably false alarms that rear steer was not functioning and to contact service. These would go away with a reset or sleep. Others have posted that they are convinced the rear steer was indeed not working when those alerts go off but this is not confirmed IMO. So probably not an issue.

Admittedly I have not had this alert on my own Gravity in a month or so , but the loaner Gravity I drove last week had the same rear steer alert go off twice and it was on 3.5.1. I needed to reset the car to get rid of it. So it is still happening to some cars. To me, it’s one more thing to worry about.

My Gravity’s air suspension failed the first month I had it. There was a bad wire connection to the rear suspension that needed replacement. I posted pics of a very lopsided car! And air suspensions are a known risk for failure in all cars. Of course even without dynamic handling package , you’ll get a single chamber air suspension I think.

I think it’s interesting that inventory is apparently high (from the sales call today) and they are adjusting production to match demand, but you can’t find the specs you want on what they have in inventory. Does this seem to be conflicting data?
They started building to reach their production target, irrespective of orders , probably due to supply chain. Hopefully Napoli will right the ship. Previous CEO and interim CEO not good at managing production/supply chain issues. Now they have a lot of cars with specs people don’t really want.

Maybe they should have simplified specs….too many options not good for a “ startup’ that is struggling with production.

Just noticed that there are a few 2027 gravity gt available now on website inventory with a bunch more 1-2 weeks available timeline.

I was one of the Lunar Titanium orders that got cancelled March 31st. I went ahead and got a white 2027 model order on April 1st, when the configurator opened up 27s. I didnt hear a peep from ANYONE from Lucid for a full month, so I bugged them for the last few days. I got a call from Tony yesterday and was "excited" to share my 2027 would start manufacturing in June....

WTH. Website said 6-8 weeks.

I shouldn't be surprised. It is Lucid.

None of the inventory comes close. I did order a full spec and everything in queue seems to be a mis mash of random configs (white exterior, tahoe interior, 20/21 wheels, all the packages). My guess they are running into component and supply issues.

In any event, disregard the 6-8 week promise.
@Ron A - my April 14th order (also in white) is two-weeks behind your April 1st order... mid June now... curious if you have update on 'In Production' and/or a delivery date?

@RLead8 - Think your order is a week ahead of mine - any feedback?

Seems that for US deliveries MY27's are now moving, based on preconfigured Gravities showing as 'Available in 2 to 4 weeks'...

FYI - A required Transport Canada approval for the MY27 will likely delay my delivery by an additional 4 to 6 weeks.

Last update I received on 5/12 is below. I plan to follow up next week.

“We’re expecting your vehicle to be completed and officially released from the production line by 6/30. As soon as I have any additional information, I’ll let you know.”

I have a VIN now but last week they said late June. This week they said early July. So there's still delays and no explanation.

I've had my rep try to convince me to take a similar 2026 DE and similar 2026 models before the end of June. Large incentives.

I'm convinced the 2027s are not getting delivered until July so Lucid can clear inventory before quarterly end.

Yea, same. They keep pushing in inventory options. I mean if they could swap out tires, they’d have a deal.
