I have Air since Aug this year. This morning, I noticed the darker coat on the front is peeling off here and there (photo attached). Never been to the car wash (hand cleaned with microfiber cloth... lol i know).
Has anyone experienced the peeling? Will it be covered under warranty? It would ruin car's stealth look if chrome becomes more visible.

I’ve never seen that. It looks like a defect but hard to tell from a somewhat blurry photo. Definitely call service.

(If it is a defect, they will happily cover it under warranty)

Did you ever get this figured out? I've got a '26 Air Touring and just the stealth pannels on the front of the car are chipping and I'm only at 3k miles. The rest of the car is fine. It almost looks like they took the standard chrome look pannels and just painted them dark. Here's a pic of one of many of the chips. It's all nice and shiny under there.

I’ve been looking for PPf for that

Lucid replaced the peeling piece, which in my case was the bottom trim. The other stealth pieces has chips from the rocks or other debris hitting, and falls under wear & tear (which I agree). You can get this checked but from your photo I reckon it will fall under wear and tear.

Definitely wear and tear.

I asked the TWraps guy if he could make a PPF for that piece, but I don’t think he has a Lucid to scan anymore.

At least I won’t feel bad about wrapping the trim on mine since I see that’s what Lucid did too 😂

I had this exact issue at 3k miles. I'm at 15k and it's a war zone on all the stealth trim up front. Curious if anyone has tried to wrap the stealth trim. Paint is perfect along with anything piano black but the stealth trim is slowing turning into platinum trim.
