Hi all, picked up this 2022 GT recently. The window sticker mentions “Surreal Sound with 21 Speakers”. Is this the same thing as Surreal Sound Pro? I believe that has 21 speakers, and the base system has less.

One other question I had was relating to Dreamdrive Pro. On highways it lets me switch to “Drive Assist” but really it seems to just be the same thing as adaptive cruise control as the steering wheel is greyed out on the screen and the steering does not do anything by itself. Obviously I have never gotten hands free drive assist to work either.

Was wondering if anyone had this issue, or if I was doing something incorrectly. Luckily it does have 10 months of warranty left, but hoping this is just be doing something incorrectly and not the car.

Your Monroney sticker does say you have DreamDrive Pro. Go into the settings menu and configure it. Could be that some of the features have been turned off by the previous owner. You will also need to calibrate your face to the car’s system and add it to your profile so that it knows how to look for you paying attention before allowing hands-free mode. You’ll likely have to set your steering in a manner that allows the camera to get a clear look at your face.

I configured it in the menu to be on. I have not calibrated my face though, so will try that. Thanks.

Those might have been software purchase options on the '22, the hardware is there but required a purchase activation. Does it play Tidal?

It would play tidal either way, and SSP was a different purchase from DDP.

You'll want to adjust the steering wheel lower than you'd think, so that the face camera can see your face. It's the black rectangle below the driver's display. The top of the wheel should block the top inch or so of the driver's display.

Congrats on your new purchase and welcome to the forums! Are you on the latest software - 2.10.0? If after trying the suggestions, the car does not stay within the lane on the highway, I would make an appointment with the local service center to check it out. They may be able to send a mobile tech, but if the sensors need recalibration you'll need to bring it in.

just fyi..one of the many things wrong regarding ddp and all that when i bought it, like you, used....DDP needs to be switched over to yoru account in the background as well. Contact the service centre to make sure it was removed from the previous owner's account and unto yours. If you log into your lucid account on the site, you should be able to see it. If you don't, they haven't activated it yet in the background.

Took months to even get that part done for me.
