2.8.0 Software Update

I called the Lucid Service Center in Natick MA. That's who the "they" was. Natick is my local service center. From the time I called them to the time the car was operational was probably two hours (not including the failed first update). I was on the phone with them 4-5 times during the fix.
I’ve been very impressed with the Natick team in my experiences with them

The California supreme Court just overturned the basis of the Nem3 designations by the power companies. It goes back to the lower courts for review and hopefully fix. Basically saying that people with solar make electricity more expensive for lower income people that do not have solar is a faulty premis.. As I understand it. TBD

Anyone else noticed this bug with 2.8.0 when going up and down temperature changes +1 and -1 the actual number does not change accordingly for example 68, +1 then it still stays on 68, +1 goes to 70, +1 stays on 70, +1 goes to 72 etc. It appears to be rounding issue with displaying actual temperature. I apologize if this was covered already. I didn't read through whole 26 pages. Can anyone else confirm they have the same issue?

Just had my first experience with the new hands free driving. All I can say is I thought it was amazing. Only intervened once during rush hour traffic in Denver and that was because someone darted into my lane and the car made an instant adjustment, but I was uncomfortable with the car's 'decision'. It probably would have been just fine. As an early adopter, I'm still blown away by this car. I love it. Hope the company stays solvent over the long haul!

yeah that happened to me this weekend. when you use the lower display to change the temp with your finger, you can select the individual number you want. the issue was intermittent so I came to believe it wasn't a design change. sometimes using the button would result in the upper display changing by one and other times it would not. Didn't bother me too much once I set the temp on the lower display. I think later in my drives it was back to normal. odd one for sure.

Just had an 8 hr round trip.. Lucid should be VERY PROUD on immuculate release of hands free drive assist. I have 2023 air touring, and for me personally, this has been the BEST update ever so far. So subtle, so seamless. Extremely satisfied. Take a bow, Lucid! Hope you are reading all praises in this forum.

I've been using mine a bit lately. There is definitely a period where you are learning to trust the HFDA, but it is a really really good enhancement to the car. I was driving home the other night and it was wonderful to just sit back and monitor the road and traffic without having to worry about steering the car and managing the speed.

I finally got to use HFDA yesterday after a false start because my steering wheel needed to be lower. Used it on my way back home from Tucson (over 100 miles) on the I 10. It worked flawlessly for me. I mostly kept in the middle lane but it also preformed well in the far right lane. No more ping pong effect. I will say the lane change feature could use a smoother more gradual change. It did freak out a driver in another lane for a few seconds. Thanks Lucid!
