2.4.0 / 2.4.2 / 2.4.3 / 2.4.4 OTA

2023 Air Touring - updated this afternoon. Took a little over 2 hours. Haven't driven it yet, but the app certainly wakes the car up more quickly

I am in Northern CA and I just got my update today. 1 hour 45 minutes. Have not driven it yet.

How late in the day do updates get pushed? And do they push them over the weekends too?

24’ Pure, fairly new to Lucid and keenly awaiting this update, as I feel it’ll justify my decision to get DD Pro with my car!

Just updated to 2.4.4. Update went smooth - just shy of 2 hours. Have not tried any features yet - will test it out tomorrow. Kudos to Lucid for releasing a much anticipated massive Dream Drive Pro update. Hopefully works good. Driving a Touring 23 w/ DDPro. East Coast Philly.

When will the lane visualizations expand to regular street driving?
I wouldn't expect it. The visualization is part of Dream Drive pro, which isn't meant to be used on city streets.

Seems like a fairly reasonable next step...if the car can visualize a highway, it should be able to visualize a roadway with garbage cans in front of houses or pedestrians on the side walk.

Got the update this morning (2023 AT in the Bay area). Took it on the 580 for a 15 mile drive, and loved the 3 lane visualizations! But highway ass doesn't take control of steering any more!! (It's basically working as adaptive cruise and if you don't steer it drifts out of lane. The steering wheel icon never fills in to show that HA is in control). Related (probably): The dream drive screen in settings is showing lane departure protection and collision avoidance protection (both) as "feature unavailable" - whereas lane departure protection was in fine (aggressive!) form as recently as Saturday!

Seems like GT2022owner has a somewhat similar issue, but not even adaptive cruise works for them.

Also I'm unimpressed with "hey Lucid" so far. When you ask it who makes the best evs, it gives a spiel about how good lucid motors is. That was kind of funny. But then when I asked the car what it thought of Tesla - exactly the same spiel!

It would be cool, but would it be useful, or just visual clutter?
On my Model 3, the visualization of city streets mostly showed me the car's AI shortcomings rather than providing any information that wasn't already available by looking out the windshield.

I tried asking important questions, such as what was Abraham Lincoln's hat size, and Hey Lucid didn't know. Alexa was able to give me unrelated information about his height and what kind of hat he wore. Hey Google had no problem telling me the answer, and cited a hat in the Smithsonian as a reference.

Update downloaded and I'm now on 2.4.4. I happened to update my iPhone to iOS 18 yesterday, too. One of the two updates broke my CarPlay connection to the Lucid, but it was easily restored by forgetting the phone in the Lucid settings and reconnecting, accepting the CarPlay connection, etc. Just mentioning in case others have this problem. The "Hey Lucid" features seem to work well, too. Looking forward to a drive tomorrow to test the rest.

I have waited patiently and tried everything to put my Air in internet connectivity range. No update so far. I think I will try praying now. …dear father, holy god, please … 🙏🙏🙏🙏 😂😂

When you drive around with DDP on but not engaged, it shows the lane visualizations just fine

How late are people getting their updates. I have one of the first 2023 tourings and got early December 2022.

I got my AT the same time as you and was notified early this morning to update. Process went smoothly. Blinker sounds were muted when I first used the car but an air logo reset took care of it.

2024 Touring still no joy!!

Any ever do a hard reset to cure some of these issues? I didn’t even know about it, but here’s the process CS gave me:

In order to perform it, press and hold the brake pedal down. While holding the brake down, press and hold the X button on your steering wheel (left side). While holding both previous down, press and hold the microphone button down (right side of steering wheel). Hold all of these for 1 minute or until the screens go dark. If the screens don't go dark, release the brake pedal and both buttons and the screens should go dark.
