Anyone else encounter a strange tear in seat upholstery?

I agree. This material is too soft and too thin for the bolster location

Anyone else encounter a strange tear in seat upholstery?

All of these issues appear to be in same area of bolster... I surmise that the sloping roof line leads to some drivers sliding in to seat somewhat sideways and making heavy contact with this section of perforated PurLuxe on seat bolster, which is thin and fragile. Friction against the...

Pure vinyl driver seat has a hole/ tear

Same here..Posted in another thread and reposting here... I do not carry sharp objects in my pockets and use same wallet and phone in pants pockets as I have in previous cars and never had this type of wear or tear on a seat bolster... The only thing I can guess is the rivets on my jeans...

Anyone else encounter a strange tear in seat upholstery?

Same issue here on side bolster... This is on PurLuxe... I am guessing rivet on jean pocket when I slide in... Never exoerienced this wilth any other cars... Now I think that PurLuxe is too fragile and thin... Would not recommend.

Looking for opinions on the 21" wheels

I have replaced Pirellis on Panamera's, BMWs and Jaguars more times that I can count.... Not same experience with Michelin Pilot Sports.. I have several friends who attest to similar experience with Pirellis. Might seem anecdotal, but seems real to me.

Looking for opinions on the 21" wheels

Odd to have that occur at random, but looks like a Pirelli, and they are a weak link compared to Michelins

    New owner needs guidance

I have AWD, and love mr car, but recently got chance to take short drive in RWD version... I liked it... Might not be as fast, but feels a bit more athletic because of lighter weight and balance..

Looking for opinions on the 21" wheels

I have driven both... Mine has 20" Michelins... Feels good and handles well... No complaints or regrets. I have also had Air GT loaners with 21" Pirellia for combined time of almost 3 weeks. They feel stickier and firmer on the road. Nice feel. However, the only OEM 21's on Airs seem to...

    New owner needs guidance

I have 20" and like the ride and handling... I have had a GT loaner with the 21" for extended period and it is grippier and a tad firmer... That said, I am not a fan of Pirelli products in big tire sizes. the 21" Pirellis will likely give you a few sidewall bubbles over time, especially...

    SS / SSP

I have a friend with an Air who did not get SSP, and he does not care.. Just listens to sports, news and pod casts, and says he cannot appreciate the difference. Meanwhile, I am a musician hobbyist, highly immersed in music, and have SSP in my Lucid... To be frank, I was underwhelmed at...

    RESOLVED Is motor whine normal?

My point is that I have had GT loaners several times for extended periods. I have not noticed any difference in noise.. Certainly not enough to bother me... , I also have AWD Pure

    RESOLVED Is motor whine normal?

Just a couple of comments.. I have AWD on Pure. At first whine was a new thing, slightly annoying for the first few days, but got used to it --and now I actually like it. It is quieter than many high performance internal combustion engines. I don't understand your downscale comment between...

SiriusXM seemed to break internet connectivity... sorta

Yes.. It is all about quality of the source material... The upgraded sound system shines with Tidal (or other high quality recordings). Even bass sounds betterl. Tidal outperforms "lossless" Apple Music feeds too. That said, even older music has better separation and depth with Tidal...

SiriusXM seemed to break internet connectivity... sorta

I have been having Sirius connectivity issues for the past couple of weeks.. No signal... It comes back with soft reboot, but re-occurs.. This week I took my car for service at Lucid Beverly Hills for frunk issue and mentioned it, and they told me it has been common issue lately.. They gave...

Lease Discounts for inventory or Demo cars possible?

Don't know how he got to those $ numbers, but good for him if he can find EA stations near him which are easily accessible and operational. The three year free charging was for early reservation holders with deposits... I am one of them, but have not had much luck with EA charging as reliable...

    Stuck Frunk

I know how it is supposed to work, and have had intermittent frunk latch issue for several months.. I have had several visits to Lucid for service, and have been in contact with their factory service advisors.... I was never told to push harder. -- nor did I ever create body damage to frunk...

    Stuck Frunk

Wow.. looks like you push way too hard.. I have always been cautious about this, On Pure manual closure is required to latch, but Lucid suggests pressing down lightly above the L and D of Lucid logo at front edge of frunk.. When mine has been stuck ajar, I give it a good try, and then stop...

    Stuck Frunk

I got call to bring my car in for frunk fix by factory tech who was visiting Beverly Hills service center.. I asked what it was and was told it was a nano-adjustment to release switch.. My car is there now, so will see if we have a resolution... The odd coincidence is that I got cut off in...

    Stuck Frunk

I am still waiting for them to issue the prescribed repair bulletin too... I just don't use frunk at this point.. I have had multiple service visits on this already without a consistent result, but I am assuming that they will have this solved and well sorted at some point, so just being patient
