I don't think the base stereo has stereo midbasses. Only 9 drivers (4x mid/tweeter L/R front, rear + 1x 8" woofer) all off on 1 Class D amp. Thus will have no body. Its about as base as you can get. It's really an optioning strategy if you don't care about audio you can save a few $$...
