Less a car, but the best Lucid photo I can share from my phone.

Love seeing the Boston representation on the forums! Where are you getting the PPF done?

Bumpy ride on Pure with 20” wheels

You should make sure the shipping blocks have been removed from the springs - it's a part of the PDI and (in my experience with other brands) can be missed on PDI.

[SOLD] Set of 20" Aero Lite Wheels w/ Pilot Sport EV tires brand new

Maybe it’s different in the lucid world but I’ve been dealing in oem + aftermarket for 15 years and no one sells take offs for a mass market car for msrp. Good luck with sale.

    Another Business Insider Article

To be fair, it’s time for a clean out of senior leadership in sales. If you’ve noticed, many of the good faces who you all have interacted with as customers are leaving on their own accord or being asked to leave because they are trying to do what is right for customers and the health of the...

    Rims to increase range?

The Lucid 6-piston brakes are massive up front and may necessitate a 19" wheel. Oz has some interesting options out there that are touted as range-oriented but changing from say the OEM 19" aero range wheel to an aftermarket wheel is not a cost-proposition I'd take on. All the wheels are aero...

Will the RWD Air be quieter

They cannot and will not at this point.

Just Curious - XPEL PPF and EA app

The EA app tells what is currently in use, available, and sometimes (big sometimes) out of service.

The frunk will be manual on pure.

Will the RWD Air be quieter

There's maybe 2 people on these forums who've seen a Pure in the metal, and none who've driven them, so it would be a guessing game at this point.

Building my own winter tire/wheel set

Caliper clearance is my only thing I'd have any concern with, but otherwise you've got it all figured out for the most part. TireRack does show a 433mhz TPMS sensor is compatible and sells an aftermarket part for $60 a corner FYI. The car does need to be programmed for different tire size as...

Electric cars don't need better batteries. America needs better charging networks

Obviously, the ideal is at home level 2 charging. I do agree, however, there needs to be more robust public DCFC infrastructure, and it needs to be held to a higher standard. I think there's a space in the market (especially as more and more EVs are adopted) for more players in the charging...

    Longer charging cable ?!

If it’s not a permanently installed wall box, and just a 240v outlet, I’d suggest just buying a new EVSE with a longer cable, there are countless options out there.

    Keyfob Mnemonics

The directions are also in the manual and the box the keys ship in. I'll be the dissenting opinion and say it took maybe an hour with the key to understand its functions and I really don't get all the stink.

High pitch beeping sound from near drivers door

There are speakers in the A-pillar of the cars interior, I wonder if that corresponds with the location when you say the sound is at your 10 o'clock position.

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Grand Touring

Legally you cannot sell and title a car as it is a lemon. The company's policy does not allow folks to test drive "their" car before delivery, so I would be working off the strong assumption there was a far more mundane reason for cancelling.

Hi @RM-S8 first off, beautiful car. Did your DA give you any timeline on when you would get the aero covers for the GT-P wheels?

    19" vs 21" Tires: Ride Quality/Range Difference

@hellolucid As pointed out above, those wheels are the incorrect PCD (bolt pattern) for Air. Air is 5x120. To determine what you need to exceed for a load rating, take the heavier of the two gross vehicle ratings per axle (on the sticker in the doorjam) and divide it by 2.

    Interior and exterior modifications

If you're dropping 15 lbs a corner, you will certainly notice a more nimble driving experience. Any chance you have the wheel specifications? Looking to put together a repository of aftermarket wheels on Air for others to be able to use for data points. Feel free to PM me if easier.
