True, but with my the Santa Cruz interior, I had to do it. With snowy and rainy winters, the car 'gently" suggested I do so, otherwise it could be bad for me...and it kept mentioning that it knew where I lived :D
That happened to me Wednesday. It was unfun. Luckily the service manager called and got me sorted pretty quickly with the same reset, which he encourgaged me not to use unless instructed by a Lucid tech.
I was thinking the same. The most recent of the inflators I've had over the years had trouble getting to the 39psi for my Volvo. I'll definitely take a good long look at that over. Thanks!!
There are a ton of factors, true. I have to say I'm pretty happy with what I'm seeing so far. My previous car was a plug in hybrid and my all electric range would plummet in the winter. So I was pretty much expecting the cold to be taxing.
Wow, I didn't imagine it would be that significant. I'm excited to see what's going to be possible in the spring and summer on my cross country drives.
I have the 19 inch wheels. I have the aero covers on still, at least till it warms up some, or when I take a longer drive. What were you getting without the aero covers?
It does the trucky stuff really well though! I'm looking forward to my first long drive. I think a drive to Philly should be long enough figure what it's real world characteristics will be. 🤞
I'm in Northern Virgina, my commute is roughly 12 miles. Half of which is stop and go. The temps have been 30s and 40s since I picked up the car(touring) for the most part. I'm seeing 3.3-3.5 typically. If I do longer highway drives at 70-80 I can get over 4 if I keep it steady. As others have...
That was my experience as well. One day when I conditioned the car while it was charging then turned the heat off before I was ready to leave. I didn't realize it turned it off period. I got close to 5 mi/kW before I figured out I was cold lol.
That was my thinking as well. I may do the whole car later, but this is my first cat work PPF so I need to figure out whether the benefit is worth the cost, so to speak. 🤔
Got my car back this evening, looks great so far! It was late and the light wasn't great, but I'll snap some pictures tomorrow assuming the sun deigns to show itself haha
That's what I'm doing, the full front end (hood, bumper and the quarter panels). Who knows, if I get the notion, I may do the rest of the car, but it kinda seems like overkill at the moment. Time will tell. ;)
