I’m just being told that the “pop” noise is considered normal and being experienced across all vehicles they have both new and higher miles than mine. So to be clear, you’re not experiencing that popping sound?

Sorry to revive this again. I’m on my 3rd steering wheel now. My steering wheel has always made a “pop” noise when turning from left to right (I’ll try and post a video). No matter what wheel, it always makes the noise. My car is being looked at for an airbag light and I asked them to look...

    Hello, and...goodbye?

I always drive on high regen. My highway speed for this trip was 65-75 for the most part. If you had recently completed a DCFC session and parked your car, that could also explain the 4 kw consumption!

    Hello, and...goodbye?

😂 if I had a gravity we could easily fit another body and set of clubs!

    Hello, and...goodbye?

This was a trip last month to Monterey and back from Santa Rosa. Loaded down with 4 people, 4 sets of clubs, highway driving with massage seats going. Ontop of that, severely underinflated tires (which makes a huge difference as well). This would’ve yielded 481 miles of range in these...

    Repair Costs

Automatic gate closed on my wife while she was driving my drunk ass home one night. Required a bumper replacement and I had to have the PPF redone on the quarter panel. Cost for bumper replacement was $1847.44. My PPF was $600 to remove and readd. I had a small dent removed as well by a...

What, so NOW you can design a Pure RWD with Santa Cruz Leather and MASSAGING SEATS!?!?

Massaging seats also only available on the Mojave, not the Santa Cruz option.

    RESOLVED AGT stops charging

I can confirm this behavior as well. Mainly after DCFC. I charge in the mornings (90%), drive 15 miles afterwards using about 3% SoC. I park my car outside and when I return from work 99% of the time my SoC rises back up to 90% or more.

best way to remove hard water spots? :(

Vinegar will work given enough contact time with the spots. Vinegar is what is recommended to “descale” a coffee pot, which is just removing hard water from it.

best way to remove hard water spots? :(

Anything that is going to remove the calcium & magnesium that makes up hard water is going to be very acidic, so it will eat through the ceramic and even car paint over time. I recommend either having a water softener put in (it still leaves water spots but sodium/potassium doesn’t leave behind...

Electrify America is enraging EV owners

I’ve owned my GT for 16k miles since April of ‘22. I happen to live in a state where there is a surplus of chargers, and EA has only tested my patience a few times. Mostly when the car was new (the typical authentication error). There are a bunch of 350kW chargers around, but the speeds never...

Damage from an entry gate, $20,000 repair!!! (local certified Lucid shop.)

Had the identical thing happen. My wife was driving my drunk ass home and our friends gate closed on me. I had PPF and so it saved some, but a new bumper was needed. There was some paint damage to the quarter panel, but I just had my PPF guy touch it up and then re wrap with the matte PPF I had...

    Massive insurance premium increase

I have my business vans insured through liberty mutual if that helps! My GT is with safeco, I’ve been pleased, but I haven’t had to go through any claims either!

Speculation "Since Last Charge" is confusing and pointless

I posted this in another thread a week or so ago but here it is again. Attached is my commute, I charge 1x/week and my SoC varies. I reset the Trip counter during my DCFC session so it would match with the since last charge numbers. My driving, is damn near EPA without even trying. You’ll notice...

DDP and SSP on Secondhand Purchase

I think the difference is, lucid doesn’t have “dealers,” technically. They are a direct to consumer sales company. They didn’t sell this vehicle to a dealer, it was brought in by the original purchaser to the Chevy dealer. I do believe the OP is owed something, not from Lucid, but from the...

    Post Realistic Mileage Here….

I more than most know this to be true. Great to hear others having range success. Just recently completed a trip to Reno from Santa Rosa on a full charge with no problems, up 80 the whole way - this car is a range monster when you really want it to be!

    Post Realistic Mileage Here….

It just recently hit 103 here (Sonoma county california), but where my shop is, it will be in the 80s and the car is garage kept at my house which doesn’t exceed 80 even on the hot days. Now, this isn’t a full blown BMS fan, but rather the low level humming noise of the coolant pump. It’s quite...

    Post Realistic Mileage Here….

I have 19” wheels! The biggest piece of evidence is I DCFC and drove 15 miles to my shop and parked the car. I had reset the trip counter at the charging station so everything is the same. When I got back into the car after work, the “since last charge” had consumed 3 more kWh than trip B did...

    Post Realistic Mileage Here….

This is my average commute between charging. This last week I reset the trip B to see how much the BMS system is still diminishing mi/kWh. 5 kWh were lost to that system, my driving is near epa identical without it. Mix of highway/city driving in smooth mode. The summer has definitely brought...
