    Lucid support in decline?

I believe you’re right. Probably the 21s as well. That would definitely indicate left/right rotation. That used to be a no-no for belted radial tires.

    Lucid support in decline?

He did say something to the effect that because I have 19s they could send the mobile tech. I’m guessing my 19s rotate different than the larger tires. I think they swap left-right rather than the usual front-back. Our 2021 Genesis G80 rotates left-right, which surprised me.

    Lucid support in decline?

Would you believe they actually called me back just as socktucker was typing his reply?? I think what did the trick was my stating it was my fourth call attempt. Anyway, what amazed me is that they’re backed up and couldn’t schedule me until April — but they can send the mobile van in a coupla...

    Lucid support in decline?

I do indeed wish they would fall in line with other manufacturers. Tysons Corner service was great last year. But I’ve been trying to contact them to schedule my annual service. Four calls with messages left over the past 10 days with only crickets in return. I’m going to escalate this.

Hellooohhh out there. Rally in the DMV area.

Good idea. Unfortunately, I don't think I can edit it. Any thoughts?

Hellooohhh out there. Rally in the DMV area.

Sounds good. I’ll maintain a running list. Um in Crownsville. Near Annapolis.

Hellooohhh out there. Rally in the DMV area.

Is anyone still here? I'm not even hearing the crickets anymore. I'm hoping there's still some interest in organizing a rally in the DMV area.

Who says a bear has to walk backwards?

A friend printed them on her vinyl decal printer.

Lucid Ham Radio Installations and Owners

Just a quick FYI to the followers of this thread. Thanks to Borski we now have a dedicated owners forum category for Lucid owners who are also Amateur radio operators interested in installing radio equipment in their Lucid vehicle. Although not a moderator, going forward I'll monitor this...

Lucid Ham Radio Installations and Owners

I didn't need to run a power cable. I just put the FTM-500 TR unit in the RH trunk cubby, right next to the 12v outlet. It was just simpler for me. ' So I guess this means that two of us have installed radios in our Airs. :) 73.... Frank / WA3NHK

Lucid Ham Radio Installations and Owners

Thanks a bunch. I'll be monitoring it closely because I think I'm the only owner do far who has figured out how to do the installation. BTW, is it possible to move this thread over to the new category?

Lucid Ham Radio Installations and Owners

I really don't care what we call it. Just be advised not to expect any substantive ham radio discussions that are not related to installing ham radio equipment in Lucid vehicles. There are beaucoup other forums out there that are ham radio specific, and that's where one would find ham radio...

Lucid Ham Radio Installations and Owners

Suggested title pending other opinions. “ Ham Radio Installations”. (The storm chaser aspect isn’t needed in the title.) I really appreciate you guys doing this. And I’ll monitor it closely to help on queries.

Lucid Ham Radio Installations and Owners

I'm not aware of any thread apart from this one. The earlier thread (precursor to this one) that I started in late-Feb has become OBE so it can just sit there untouched. If you can setup the ham radio category that'd be great.

Great idea. Right under General Discussions.

Lucid Ham Radio Installations and Owners

It was kinda "meh" for me. Why do 5 watts when you can do 50? I tried it, but the main problem is that I had to use an MFJ antenna mount clip and a rubber duck. It just wasn't worth the inconvenience and inefficiency. Consider using my antenna setup with your HT. The feedline is 13' of...

Lucid Ham Radio Installations and Owners

There are other hams as well. I had a similar thread going a few months ago when I was still seeking a solution, and there were several hams in the thread. Unfortunately, the mods got confused and moved my thread to a UX forum where it died due to lack of visibility. Sorta like the Cleveland...

Lucid Ham Radio Installations and Owners

I ruled out the suction cup variety from the get-go because I don't trust them to stay on. But I forgot that the vacuum things existed. I might have considered them, but I wouldn't have been sure if I could adapt an antenna mount to it with a low enough profile. I only have a little over one...
