After toying with the idea of cancelling my order I decided to go ahead and take delivery of the Lucid. I feel Lucid can deal with their growing pains and the issues can't be worse than my first Model S in 2015. Besides, when I looked for alternatives there was nothing out there that was better.

I don't have all the numbers yet. I just asked for the residual value. Once I've dodged this hurricane I plan to plug numbers into Lucid's calculator and see how they come out using the 47% RV number.

Asked Lucid about residual value after a 3 yr lease and 12K miles/year and was told "the residual value would be 47%". Not sure how that compares with other makes of cars that are 3 years old.

miso0011, got finance email last night and VIN email this afternoon. So for me less than a day.

OK, just got my VIN. Great timing, I'm either going to get hit by hurricane Ian next week or, if not, I'm leaving for a month in Australia. Should be ready to take delivery are we've cleaned up the debris and have power back or when I'm back from our trip in early November.

Got my financing email today. No VIN yet. Confirmed Cosmos Silver/Mohave/19" wheels on 10 March 22.

Thanks Ksa23. If I understand correctly, if someone were concerned that Lucid wouldn't be around in 3 years time and wanted to hedge their bets leasing could be a way of doing that. In that case the RV at the end of the lease might be lower than the calculated RV at the beginning of the lease...

What sort of premium do you pay if you buy the car at the end of the lease compared to just paying cash up front? Haven't seen anything on what I have to pay to buy the car at the end of the lease. Never leased before so maybe a stupid question.

What about turtle mode and how common is it? The 12v issue needs a tow truck and mechanics to fix. How easy is it to sort out turtle mode. Some have said a reboot solves the problem but does that do it all the time?

I'm thinking along the same as Compy. Confirmed silver AGT on 3/10. Was told to expect delivery late October/early November. Have a long road trip planned over Thanksgiving. If we do take delivery of the car we'll take the road trip in our Model S. Without time to develop confidence in the...

For those of you who have your cars, would you buy another Lucid? Just curious as I await my silver GT.

Ordered two as well. Plan to leave them in the car and use them if I need to do a reboot and don't want to take a walk. Hope they don't deteriorate too much between now and when I get my Silver car.

AGT reserved 10/11/21 confirmed 3/10/22 (after waiting for a test drive) Cosmos Silver + Mohave DA says expect delivery early July unless I want to change color. Plan to stick with car as ordered.
