Anyone still having problems with Live View on 3.4.1? I was able to use it one time when I first updated to 3.3.20, but it's been broken ever since. Nothing I've tried works: singing off/on, WiFI on/off, etc. Other than that, the update has been great.

Are the camera updates noticeable?

This is kind of what I assumed as well - that first releasee notes we saw might be old and the rollout was going to regular customers starting today. But since update doesn't seem to be rolling out broadly today, I started to wonder if we got our hopes up prematurely.

I'm not super clear on the rollout here. Is it going out now to beta testers and employees now, meaning it'll be weeks before I get it? Or do the emails and posts about restarts and fob batteries that we've seen today mean that I can expect to get that update at any moment?

Interesting. If that's true, that must be a new thing. Did you get your Gravity recently?

MagSafe uses magnets in the charging pad and the back of your phone to lock your phone in place while charging. The Gravity doesn't have that. The ask here is whether anyone has seen or created an aftermarket solution that uses magnets.

My wife and I coordinate daycare pickups from the road. Texting via voice with Siri is way better than any native text message interface I’ve dealt with. And changing podcasts while driving is better, too.

I still get a a lot of "Sensors Blocked" alerts, most often at night. Is that still a regular occurrence for others?

I found it! I don't know if this is true anymore (if it ever was), but Nick Twork made reference to CarPlay on the pilot panel:

I'm certain I saw a video from a first-look event where they said that CarPlay would be on the pilot panel, but when looking for that video, I came across this one where it's shown running on the cockpit. Safe to say that it will look something like this.

The vertical lights on the front bumper can change from amber to white. I wonder if the amber rear turn signals can change to white when backing up for extra illumination.

This might be correlation, not causation. I have car seats installed and didn’t have any problems with the update.

You’re probably better off posting this in the Interior & Exterior forum. This doesn’t sound like software issue.

I don't know exactly what was reset, but my GPS froze and required a service visit to resolve as well.

I think it’s definitely possible - and I’d actually call it probable - that bottom buttons don’t actuate as well as the top 4. Still, I had way more trouble raising/lowering the speed in DD on the left pad, than I have raising/lowering the audio volume in the same positions on the right one...

Good question. I do use the right pad a lot, and it’s generally more consistent, yet not 100% accurate. I use the right pad to play/pause audio from bluetooth, skip tracks, advance podcasts, etc. and it’s very reliable for those things. I also have Homelink programmed to the custom button and...

Resurfacing this issue to say that I just completed a road trip and had the same issues with the left pad. Starting or canceling DD requires multiple presses most of the time, but occasionally works on the first press. The same goes for changing DD speed or distance. I’ve never had a problem...

Live View seems to be broken for a lot of us. It should be fixed by upcoming software updates… eventually.

I’m picky about heated steering wheels, having had a Volvo that could cook meat and an Audi that constantly made me question whether it was on. The Gravity’s wheel is fine. It definitely works and I don’t have any complaints about it, but it doesn’t approach Volvo levels of hotness. I run it...
