Air + DreamDrive Pro: Were We Left Behind?

Two points I'll add: - Lucid Gravity seems to also be dead end at L2++. The slides for L3 and L4 specify Cosmos and family. If you watched the CES coverage Gravity needed quite a few hardware changes (even beyond the halo on top) to attain L4 capability with Nuro and Uber. They are...

    Lucid Investor Day - March 12, 2026

The cellular internet on the Gravity is AT&T 4G LTE. Just confirmed that this week, when the Lucid tech was here. I can imagine your connectivity experience depends a lot on how good AT&T cellular is in the places you live and drive. I know from our camping excursions that there are many...

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for Gravity *finally* rolling out

(puffing up chest) I can't believe on a $120,000 car it doesn't properly take dictation!

    3.5 ?

I come from a long line of cars that never had this ability. I was thrilled at push button start. Now with Gravity I don't even have to push a button? True PaaK sounds like it will be great, but carrying a key fob in my pants pocket hasn't been a real hardship either. ;-)

My dynamic range is really low

Just as a theory, but someone had said the dynamic range takes a hit for all the time the car is running, but not moving. We have a habit of sitting in it with the climate control on listening to music or the end of a program. That made some sense to me. I would imagine anytime it is not...

Switch to Lucid with up to $7000 in Conquest and Trade-in Offers

We wanted our first EV, wanted it to be a ground-up design for EV, but didn't even look at Tesla really. It feels like Tesla designs vehicles to amuse themselves and customers just need to get on board with their decisions. Lucid felt like a company that was designing vehicles to see just how...

Door handle not retracting; another door not latching

You're supposed to walk around, touch the door handle just like she did and have it work perfectly. Wives love when you do that.

    Lucid Investor Day - March 12, 2026

The thing that impressed me was Marc actually going out and talking about the Gravity and defending/promoting it. Lucid leaders are way too comfortable with focusing on the engineering and letting the vehicles speak for themselves. You don't have to be like "that other guy", but we'd like to...

    Take my money please!

Lucid went a bit dark on me in December, but I kind of understood that. They were pushing for record sales and it was apparent they hadn't sized up for it. Not sure what's going on now.

SOLD This new owner scored a bargain! GDE $96,000 3,500 miles

I hate to be the one to say it, but it kind of depends on which Gravity you get. There are some owners on here who have virtually no problems with them and others who do. A car being sold off that early may be one of the problematic ones.

    Lunar Titanium Availability?

Given how long you've waited, I might recommend you see what comes with the 2027 model refresh. Lucid has been very tight lipped about what they are changing; possibly some veil of secrecy before the March 12th investor briefing. I don't expect that they'll introduce new colors for 2027, but...

    Lucid Gravity 3.4.4 Software Update

We updated last night and the key fob with auto lock and unlock worked perfectly today; home, 3 stops, and back home again. Really no problems since the key fob software update that came with 3.4.1.

I finally turned the HUD off today

I wonder if they actually did get one off the shelf. The viewing angle problem may be that the glass windshield on the Gravity is sloped differently from what the HUD was designed for.

I finally turned the HUD off today

Seat position probably as well. It's a little better if I sink the driver seat down to the floor and then adjust from there. I prefer to sit higher usually.

I finally turned the HUD off today

Maybe that cover will magically appear in the 2027 version, along with a cover for the exposed wires in the 2nd seat.

I finally turned the HUD off today

This is one option package that I think makes the car a little bit worse. The HUD doesn't work well due to limitations on positioning and brightness. In exchange you get a reflection of its big frame in the windshield, whether you use the HUD or not. So for some of us you end up spending...

Just got my gravity back from service

Lucid recently hired someone to head supply chain management. Hopefully he can help them get quality parts delivered on time and in quantity. It would not be surprising if Lucid got low priority from parts suppliers, after all the bigger car manufacturers were taken care of. That's typically...

    Gravity-Car Camping Review

My wife has several around the house and even one in our camper. They are definitely still a thing.

Is the glass canopy better tinted on the gravity than the air

We are in South Carolina. We've had sunny days, but no hot ones yet. I've had no complaints from back seat passengers and have not been unhappy with it while sitting back there. I put PPF on the whole thing, but I'm holding off on a tinting decision until I see how it does. I think it might...

Lucid Comes in Last in Autonomy Review

That sounds about right, although the Mercedes/NVidia car was only a technology preview at CES. Hopefully Lucid is doing something with that, since they also have the NVidia partnership and Orin chipset.
