    AC compressor.

Dec 2022 build date here but service date is mar 2024 with 44k miles. So how prevalent is this? Assume it’s also correlated to mileage? I’m hoping to have this go to 100k miles without major investment outside of wear items.

Vote to bring back old seat belt logo cos new one sucks horribly

Very easy process to never be bothered by this… ensure seat belt(s) are first before putting the car in D or R. Problem solved. I get it. It’s annoying and this covering up the blind spot camera is a problem, but if the belts are on first it does not manifest.

    iOS version 2.18.0

Same here. It could be that there is another required update on the car’s side yet to be released, and/or it’s gravity specific. As usual, better release notes would help.

Vote to bring back old seat belt logo cos new one sucks horribly

If i recall the old one was on the left. And the new reg requires that it be clearly visible from the front passenger seat. Bug aside, I don’t seem them going back. One could just, you know, buckle in before putting the car into motion.

Years of Persistent Software Failures - Lucid Air Software Team’s Incompetence is Unacceptable

maybe in AZ its seen only above SOC 95%.. but up here in new england in winters, even with a SoC of 80% i get the reduced "brake" regen warning. air temps varying anywhere from 40F or below.. so i think its also a function of battery temps.. anyway back to the original topic :)

    OK.. another tire recommendation thread!

Thought they did very well. It was definitely smoother and quieter than the OEMs were at 29k miles and I never felt that the tires were a reason for not having enough grip in snow and some light ice. I recommend them to anyone considering them.

Hope the driver is ok - Lucid Gravity crashed into a toll booth in NH

Since this thread is active again, that toll both seems to be on the way out. I’ve noticed that by electronic tolling sensors are going up on both sides.

    It's Tire Time!!

I went with your option 1 about 2 months ago at a similar price point plus install charges. At first I was regretting the choice because they were louder than the nokian winter tires I was coming from. But I had a 2026 loaner with the oem and realized that it wasn’t an issue with the option 1...

2.9.0 Update seemed to cause home charging issue - solved through lowering Current Limiter to 30 A

Yes this has happened to me when I use the mobile charger. Whenever I visit my parents, I set the limiter to 24v and it starts there fine. But when I check on the charge percentage with the app, ive noticed that it bumps up to 40 and reducing it in the app does not have any effect. I've had to...

Vredestein Tire update and charging question

In my research, the batteries are happiest around 50% and the general guidance is to keep it between 20-80. charge higher or run it lower as you need and don't worry too much about it.

2.9.0 Update seemed to cause home charging issue - solved through lowering Current Limiter to 30 A

When you say plug I assume that’s still a Nema 14-50 plug?

2.9.0 Update seemed to cause home charging issue - solved through lowering Current Limiter to 30 A

No this would not be recommended. You risk the plug overheating and causing a fire. Make sure you derate to 24a in the car even with the mobile charger. Or get this https://store.lucidmotors.com/nema-14-30-charging-adapter/

TCU not being covered under warranty

thats cool. i'm not in this situation and i actively update as soon its available to me. And if a current owner chooses to skip these updates, thats on them. but someone buying a used car may find themselves in this situation unbeknownst to them. i think some transparency on why would be of...

TCU not being covered under warranty

but doesn't mean they can't push it at the service center. i'm pretty sure they have ways to load it without OTA. Perhaps they changed the backend api and that makes the older TCU no longer communicate back home.. Nothing obvious would prevent them from just attempting to apply the updates and...

Air Transition to UX3, to be or not to be!

I believe the wording is 30 days after it’s been offered to you. So staying with cccv1 should be ok as long as no updates are offered to you.

    Air Version 2.9.0

marqie stated that there is no current plans to offer the cccv2 in the reward store. I believe it was posted earlier on this thread by himself. I’ll look for it tomorrow.
