EVs appear to be vandalized, especially Tesla. Apparently there are a lot of angry ICE drivers out there who see EV's as "liberal vehicles" so EVs are constantly getting keyed, spit on, etc. Welcome to 2022, I guess. Maybe these angry owners of ICE vehicles won't realize Lucid is electric.
I agree.
It is deceptive for Lucid to say, even today, "Air is even compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and countless other apps" when in fact it is not.

Cracking the glass on a Lucid must suck with all that glass.
By the way, and this is a true story, when I moved out to Arizona a couple years ago I don't think I had had a windshield break on any car I was driving for well over 20 years. But on day one, I was driving east on Highway 8 and a...
I think its an Arizona thing. I lived in Arizona for a couple of years and everyone complained that windshields were always getting cracked. When I took my Porsche in for service and got a loaner, I had to pay extra to cover all the windshields that broke. Arizona is more of a pickup truck state.
1) The Tesla's are able to record onto media while traveling. So if you have an accident the accident is recorded. Does the Lucid Air do this?
2) The Tesla's are able to record the cars surrounding while the car is parked. Tesla calls this "Sentry Mode". That way if someone bumps the car...
As someone who is waiting for a Lucid Air to arrive, let me say that if Lucid can't get CarPlay to work when others can, what doe that say about Lucid? I mean, come on. It is clear that CarPlay is the most requested feature and Lucid has been dragging their feet all this time.
I know the Lucid has a bunch of cameras on it. However, I am unclear as to how they are used. Obviously there are used during parking, but what about other uses?
For example, Tesla has a features on their vehicles and their cameras that are used for accident investigation and evidence of...
As to Porsche and CarPlay, I generally have good luck with CarPlay, and it is far superior to Porsche's system. However, it occasionally refuses to connect to my iPhone so I have to pull over, turn off the car, and restart the car. I have reported the issue to Porsche but they seem...
Well I really like the car, but CarPlay is really great. In my opinion it far exceeds anything available from any car manufacturer. See what you will about Apple, they've got this figured out.
For me, CarPlay is a deal killer. If Lucid can't get CarPlay to work on the Lucid I will get rid of the car. It would demonstrate an inability to incorporate what every quality car has on it today and a lack of commitment by Lucid. I currently use CarPlay on my Porsche and it far exceeds any...
Lucid is making mistakes here. I am considering the Lucid Air, but there are an awful lot of things that are just vaporware. Anyone can make promises, and I suppose some people find that acceptable, but Lucid isn't coming through for its customer base. Example, Apple CarPlay is a must. So...
