As I understand it, you have to option DD2 Pro to get lane-centering. I must have that at a minimum. But as you say, it will improve through OTA updates.

I wasn't aware anyone took delivery of their GDE with a working HUD. If so, I'd love to hear how HUD is working out for them.

You are correct, the vehicle must be moving forward for this effect to work. I have it in our EQS 580 SUV.

That is why I posted the other day that I do not think HUD delays are completely due to a 3rd party vendor not having enough ready. I feel it is more a software issue that they are still working on. Just my opinion though which isn't based on any real knowledge of the facts.
