    Dream Edition for sale...

Maaaan, I started reading and was like "No way! Hydbob!!" but then turns out I was right. "No way" - Hydbob

The Sapphire is a shot across the bow to Tesla and will further cement Lucid in the performance vehicle segment. I think the initial specs planned to have tri-motor setup and I'm sure the Air was built knowing it was coming. Producing it creates far less overhead than creating a whole new...

    Discussion on 20” wheels

If the 20s are being delivered, it's only very recently. Does anyone have them that can speak to their performance?

AWD Pure does have the same setup, RWD is different.

    Touring Available for Test Drive

If you really don’t like it, pretty sure it’d be mighty cheap to just wrap the mirrors

    Test drive!

Woot! Flying in to Dallas for an overnight next week and while I’m there I scheduled a Touring test drive. First time I will be able to see touch feel in person and I can’t wait!

    Dealing with Lucid Motors

Couple things - first, poster hasn't been back since initial post.... Second, a delivery in October is still a fairly old build at this point (because it probably came off the line August/Sept), and the updates to the Wunderbox I believe have been implemented more recently than that. Lastly...

Just got notification of Pure production starting

Per some other commentary, only a few very early orders that wanted the Jenkins package would actually get a vehicle by EOY (think hundreds). The rest will still get their vehicles quicker than others, just not until 2023.

    Quick thought about RWD Pure

If I went 4 series I’m primarily looking ICE at the 440i Gran Coupé X drive. For the I4, I wouldn’t be interested in the M50 because of the range, and they don’t have a lesser powered awd electric.

    Quick thought about RWD Pure

Was reading reviews of the BMW I4 RWD (4 series is only car I’m really considering outside of the Lucid) and they brought up an interesting point. It said that with only one motor, one pedal driving wasn’t really an option, as there wasn’t enough regen to slow the car down fully. Hadn’t thought...

    Hunting wild Lucid Airs

Saw my first one live last night in north Atlanta (Alpharetta/Milton). We were behind them at a light and my wife said “hey look, a Lucid”. It was a DE-P - only got a brief glimpse of the side as they were stopped turning left at a light and were turned right. Need to hit up a service center to...

Anyone buy their car and have Lucid register it with their Montana LLC?

That wouldn’t help with someplace like Georgia where you pay tax when you register the car.

    Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama Owners

Holler if there’s one in Atlanta. I’m up in Alpharetta - don’t have a vin yet but would love to see the vehicles and meet you guys in person.

    Most & Least considered cars

Lucid is still getting its feet under it. This year they’ll have produced 7k vehicles. Polestar sold more than that in Q2, but at a much lower price point. The Lucid GT is in rare air price wise. Heck, the Mercedes S Class peaked at roughly 15k vehicles a year 5 years ago and has been trending...

[URGENT] $7500 credit for current reservation holders

This has the same caveat they all do aka "written, binding sales contract". It all comes down to whether the non-refundable deposit does the trick or not, and we won't know till we can file and see, or more explicit clarification comes out from the IRS.

Well...I went in a different direction but I will keep my deposit for now

To me Hyundai is now what Honda was 20 years ago, but better. I have been a Honda fan for many, many years, and used to drool over their Acura line. Quite a few years back we ended up purchasing a Hyundai Elantra and I was super impressed - they had all the nice touches and little things that...

    Battery Capacity

Wonder why the large delta between Dream 19 vs. 21 and Grand Touring 19 vs 21. 20 miles diff for the DEP and 47 miles diff for the GT. That seems wonky and the GT number sounds more real. 446 on a full charge for the DEP is legit.

A recent post by a guy that knows a guy said the expected HP is to be mid 400s with 0-60 of 4 secs.
