Lease return excess wear & tear

I think you'll see here that Lucid's reaching out to people was absolutely meaningless until after the article was published. But yes, I should be more precise.

Lease return excess wear & tear

I'll disagree. After the Carbuzz article was the first time Lucid even acknowledged in any way that an issue exists. People shouldn't have to sit there and hope someone from Lucid reaches out. Clearly ratcheting up the pressure brought this issue to the forefront. Big corporations don't...

    Lease return difficulties

At this point the best thing to do is spread the word anywhere and everywhere you can to ratchet up the pressure.

Lease return excess wear & tear

Unfortunately, they snuck an arbitration provision into your reservation agreement.

Lease return excess wear & tear

Lucid's own guidelines, which BoA pretends do not exist, are actually in line with industry standards. https://lucidmotors.com/knowledge/ownership/financial-services/vehicle-lease-end#lucid-excess-wear-and-use-guidelines

Lease return excess wear & tear

There is a tiny provision in the reservation agreement that Lucid uses to force arbitration, unless you have affirmatively opted out within 30 days of signing. The lease itself says nothing about arbitration. Once my lease is over and I pay their ransom, I'll be happy to walk away from this...

Lease return excess wear & tear

Perhaps BoA thinks Lucid's customers so wealthy that an extra $1000 or $5800 will be ignored.

Lease return excess wear & tear

I agree, but Lucid should do everything they can to disentangle themselves from BoA.

Lease return excess wear & tear

I actually think this is a fantastic class-action consumer fraud lawsuit with the bait and switch between Lucid's clear and unambiguous wear and tear guidelines and whatever the hell BoA is using as their guidelines.

Lease return excess wear & tear

At this point, I wonder whether they'll provide a response or just cherry-pick a few individual cases. I emailed several of their executives, and they didn't even have the courtesy to respond with a brush-off email. I expect better from Lucid. Not too long after the iPhone was released, my...

    end of lease process

Anything other than perfect factory just rolled off the lot condition is apparently excess wear and tear for Lucid.

    Lease return difficulties

Just an absolute travesty of a shambolic lease return process. Lucid should be ashamed of themselves.

Lease return excess wear & tear

One would hope they would eventually get this under control. Let's see if it happens.

    Lease return difficulties

I was thinking about getting my wheels refinished right before turning in the lease, but if that's the policy I doubt I can get them as perfectly factory minty as Lucid wants. Honestly, could probably pick up enough "damage" to trigger excess wear and tear driving directly from the refinishing...

You can send it to higher ups. Lucid email addresses are [email protected] I would recommend sending to everyone on this list except for engineering and foreign. https://lucidmotors.com/company/leadership

You will 100% be charged. Worth looking at the excess wear and tear thread for the nightmare lease return experiences. You cannot trust anything that Lucid says regarding lease return as the ultimate decision for your charges lies with Bank of America.
