This is exactly what I told my friend. Same setup I have. It’s obvious he got screwed and forced into a much more expensive install.

Another thing I noticed is that you loose most or all of the rear trunk well. True ?

    Subwoofer Bass solution

This looks very interesting. So now you’re running two subwoofers. Have you tried just using your new JBL and not the original? Do we know the size and power of the original subwoofer? Do you think the issue is the size of Lucid’s subwoofer or it’s power or possibly the cabinet it’s built into?

Backup Camera battle with Garage Door Opener

With all due respect you are missing entirely “Software QA”, which is what I was talking about. This is where you test the software against the requirements. In any event let’s not go down this rat hole. We all want the sane thing; for Lucid’s software to improve. I’ve witnessed first hand how...

I agree. That’s what I told him. I use a 14-50 and the mobile cable. The same outlet I used with my Teslas before my AGT. Is it possible that a 14-50 and use of the mobile connector cable is not allowed in a garage in Nassau county? I can’t imagine that. That’s why I posted here.

Backup Camera battle with Garage Door Opener

Having worked in software development and QA for over 30 years in some of the leading software and hardware development companies, I would NOT expect QA to catch the issue we’re discussing. That’s not to say that QA can’t make a suggestion or log an issue with the design team. As we have all...

A friend of mine lives in New York (actually Long Island) and says that his electrician says he can’t get a 14-50 outlet as it violates code. He needs to buy the full charger. Can that be true? Is he being screwed by an electrician? Thanks

    14-50 outlet in New York

Just ask his electrician to install a 14-50 for RVs.. or so I heard 😁 That’s what I told my friend that he should do but he said the electrician said it’s against code to use a 14-50 to charge the car and that he needed to buy/install the full home charging station which is way more expensive...

A friend of mine lives in New York (actually Long Island) and says that his electrician says he can’t get a 14-50 outlet as it violates code. He needs to buy the full charger. Can that be true? Is he being screwed by an electrician? I have a 14-50 in Georgia and have no issues.

Tire Rotation question on 20” and 21”

Are you thinking the tires won’t last 12k miles? I had over 30k miles when I sold my model S and 19k miles when I sold my model X. Never bought new tires.

Backup Camera battle with Garage Door Opener

As someone said… “Failure to acknowledge and communicate bug fix is a bad approach.” It’s also not a good approach as a customer to not communicate the issue with customer care. I really hope all of us do that. I certainly do.

Backup Camera battle with Garage Door Opener

I encourage I would encourage you to email customerCare to describe your issue. That’s the ONLY official way to request a change or log an issue. I’m sure that posting here will not get it done even if Lucid reads it. I always encourage people to send them email. The more people who do that...

Tire Rotation question on 20” and 21”

19” can be rotated at least front to back since they are the same size ties all around. They would not have the same issue as the other sizes.

Tire Rotation question on 20” and 21”

Hi, For those who have 21” or 20”, which have staggered wheels (different sizes on front and rear) what have you done when it’s time to rotate tires? You can’t rotate them (left/right) i assume unless they aren’t directionalized. Are they? Your thoughts? Thanks

    Homelink issue/desire

While I agree with you that it’s a big annoyance, several of us found a pretty cool workaround using Alexa and an app called LiveKey. It’s fully explained in a thread on this forum. Once it’s set up, all you do, as you exit your garage is say “Alexa, close garage door”. It’s totally hands...

    Garage and gate opener

I was able to connect my AGT to my garage door and our community gate just with their respective remotes. I didn’t use any learn buttons, even though our garage opener has one. Both are LiftMaster.

Any issue with missing an update?

Hi, Is there any issue if you miss several updates ? I’m at 2.0.33 and haven’t installed a couple. I would assume that when I initiate an install it does the right thing? Anyone else experience this?
