    Wheel Touch-up Paint Color Match

I had the same issue. No need to paint if silver rims. Use sand paper from course to fine then finish it off with a metal polishing paste. In my photo of before and after, I did not use a metal polisher yet. It looks good enough to me so didn’t even bother polishing it. Took me about 10 mins...

    Dual wireless charger! Finally.

Lucid did not come with dual wireless charger from the factory. A little DIY took charge of this! You can probably order the wireless charger from Lucid directly as it is almost a PnP. They even have the brackets and space for it. If not, just get an aftermarket wireless charger for a lot less...

    HomeLink Auto Opening

UPDATE: Yes, I have the Liftmaster and it is the garage motor unit causing this problem. Resetting it solved the problem. IF it does not, the logic board needs to be replaced as it could be faulty per Liftmaster rep. Hope this helps anyone else who ran into this issue.

    Heat Pump

Didn’t think wire harness could be over engineered to a point it becomes unreliable. https://techcrunch.com/2022/05/25/lucid-recalls-all-of-its-2022-air-evs-due-to-wiring-issues/amp/ Bottom line is to challenge and to ask questions will hopefully help improve a company‘s product. Lucid, like...

    Heat Pump

Isn’t this the point of the forums? To debate, discuss, share, ask, etc? Or will this post be censored because it is not butt kissing Lucid? I guess we will find out. I actually agree with some of your valid points. Over engineering something to sacrifice reliability is a bad idea.

Test show it is more efficient. It is not wasteful.

    Heat Pump

Agree. To list a few: Soft closing doors, Lucid’s headlight system, powered frunk/trunk, dream drive, etc. all add complexity and expense as well. Does it prevent us from buying the Lucid? No, because most EV buyers want the better and advanced features even if it meant there are dozens of ways...

BUG Outside temperature reading is way off

Yup! When I was charging at EA, my phone said it was 27 outside and the car said it is 49. This car has a lot of bugs to work out.

    Heat Pump

Touring and Pure models didn't go into production until late in 2022. Wonder if they put in heat pumps for those models since it has a smaller battery compared to the GTAs and would benefit even more with a more efficient heating system.

Doubtful. The tech in these EV cars change pretty quick. But, heat pumps is nothing new.

    Heat Pump

“Do you use a heat pump with the Air? We don't currently have a heat pump - but one is coming. Heat pumps are very important.” - Peter Rawlinson. https://topgear-autoguide.com/category/traffic/lucid-boss-peter-rawlinson-thats-why-established-manufacturers-have-a-hard-time1607959459 They...

    Heat Pump

Anyone know why Lucid didn’t go with a heat pump? There is no question that a heat pump setup is more efficient. The range lost in winter could have been minimized if they went with a heat pump.

Anyone? I would also like to know if there is an end call button on the steering wheel.

    HomeLink Auto Opening

This is a very strange phenomenon. I had 3 instances where after I had setup HomeLink in my Lucid, my garage door would automatically open by itself. This happened twice when the car was not home and happened once when the car was parked in the garage. Anyone having this issue as well? Only...
