    Conquest Credit

For me, they added the conquest credit into the price.... Basically up-front discount.

I believe this is Fathom Blue? Would you be able to take more photos outdoors in the daylight sun?

    Air 2~5 months Waiting Game

It would be almost a sin to drive this beautiful monster at 60mph to meet the EPA range/rating… 🤣 My 90% of driving patterns would be mixed highway/city here in Southern California.. ~200 miles max… Therefore I feel Touring would be good enough… (with Fathom Blue / Stealth) I’m going to see if...

Thanks for your input. It seems like I live not too far away from you. I live near Bressi Ranch, Carlsbad area... So I know one or two things about all the up and down hills here. haha It might be fun to test out how much the regenerative brakes will put back into the battery storage as I take...

    Air 2~5 months Waiting Game

Thanks for your input and for sharing your range management. Based on your two recent posts, it looks like you have an Air GT with 21" wheels? Or do you also see that the Touring model (with 21") would make it difficult to get to the (real-world) 300-mile range? Florida probably has better road...

    Air 2~5 months Waiting Game

If I may ask, what range are you getting with regular, day-to-day drive with your GT? Given that I'll be installing level 2 charger at home (with monthly surplus of over 300kwh from the solar panels) + discount at my workplace for DC stations...... I feel comfortable with regular Tour trim's...

    Air 2~5 months Waiting Game

Suppose the 'real world' ~400 (Grand Touring) range is better than ~300 (Touring) in terms of the "range anxiety"... still, both are far superior compared to other carmakers with similar battery systems I'll have to stop by the store again and see if the GT's backseat with extra battery is...

I even offered them "make it non-refundable, and I'll deposit more". 😅 The service advisor said no. lol

I'm not blaming Lucid. I wish they had more transparency/information regarding the "Order" process. As I found out today, technically, they are honoring the order. It would have been nice had they informed me in the first place that they were gathering enough similar options/trims and trying to...

Update: March 27th 2024. Spoke with another sales advisor; - No more custom order-to-build at the moment. They are now batch-processing the vehicles based on the popular colors and options of requested orders - Two Grand Tour Performance vehicles are still available; One is in California, and...

    Air 2~5 months Waiting Game

Thanks for sharing your experience & thoughts. Highly doubt they sold the vehicle in the display... probably the vehicle was broken, and covered it up + with excuses San Diego, CA in-store vehicles were wide-open to try all the features.... except driving. lol 99% of the time I'll be driving...

Congrats on finding the vehicle of your dreams. Yes... There are ongoing "on-site" $3k discounts for existing inventories. (GT trim level if I remember correctly) Btw, it's "Fathom Blue". ;)

    Lucid Air or BMW i5

The latest i5 review by SavageGeese changed my mind about the i5 consideration as an alternative to Air.

    Air 2~5 months Waiting Game

With all the factory expansion videos and announcements... and reducing the production #s for 2024... I figured Lucid would be more nimble/faster to put the ordered spec into the factory system... Maybe I assumed too much.

    Air 2~5 months Waiting Game

I'm not asking for any sympathy. I know what I want and am willing to wait for it. I'm just baffled by Lucid's "ordering" process, which doesn't seem to have a clear indication of when it can be submitted/planned/scheduled to build.

    Air 2~5 months Waiting Game

I'm willing to wait. I waited for the Audi S5 for 5 months before building it to my specifications. The difference is that the Audi dealer submitted my order to the factory in Ingolstadt, Germany, and provided me with the status after making the deposit. In contrast, the Lucid sales advisor is...

    Air 2~5 months Waiting Game

Again, this defeats the purpose of the "ordering" process. Asking 1 time to "consider" other existing inventory is one thing. Continuing to ask me to "reconsider" other available cars on a weekly basis that don't match what I have "ordered" is another.

    Air 2~5 months Waiting Game

What annoys me the most at this stage is that they actually asked/suggested I lower my option level from my original design to match the existing inventory options. ex. 20-way position -> 12-way position.

    Air 2~5 months Waiting Game

Assuming you've ordered back in 2021 or 2022, where there was a global shortage of parts... It's understandable to wait a long time. But this is 2024.. It's not like they're still going through chip/part shortages.
