Can the Alexa THAT IS IN MY HOUSE get data/control a lucid?

I did exactly this with HA and Google Assistant for both our Lucid and Volvo. I had to make template sensor helpers to change both car's battery SOC from a battery percentage sensor to relative humidity percentage sensor, because Google does not support a "battery" device. I did the same for our...

    negative feedback

The fob works fine for me. I think most of the complaints there are are from people who want a fob with several buttons, rather than a single button you single-click, double-click, hold, or click and hold.

QUESTION Will HUD be operable on first DE deliveries in May

Thank you for posting - interesting. Were you wearing polarized sunglasses at the time?

    Charger Question

For some reason I just can't step away from this stuff. It's not obvious to 99% of owners, especially those on their first EV.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

It's not really a trick - the delivery person should have demonstrated it for you. It isn't in the owner's manual yet (an oversight) but should be. When carrying the fob, I like to leave passive unlock turned on, along with passive lock. Then no extra motion is needed. With the mobile key, I...

    OTA Update 2.7.0

That's interesting! BTW the car uses AT&T. Is your phone on a different carrier?

    Android auto

I tried this, but it didn't improve my AA connection success rate with a Pixel 9 Pro xl. Fortunately, turning the car's Bluetooth off and on has always worked to get AA started.

    Gravity Plan B

Polestar 3 is my fallback plan as well, though BWM's imminent iX3 looks to be worth investigation when it comes out. I need range rather than size.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Gravity's fob is UWB-based, meaning a wholly new system design relative to that on the Air. I'd expect the two vehicle's lock/unlock performance to be completely unrelated. This would include both the fob, and phone-as-a-key for UWB-capable phones. If your phone isn't UWB-capable, it's likely...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

One can imagine a triage board as the Gravity product, manufacturing, and service teams decide just what level of incompletion is viable to ship, and in what quantity.

    Android auto

I haven't tried your last point, but otherwise all your bullets are correct. It's more accurate to say that Google Maps on Lucid's implementation of Android Auto does not do EV route planning., rather than saying that AA does not do EV route planning. Google Maps running on AA in Ford vehicles...

Midsize platform coming in late 2026--per Electrek

In the meantime, competition is heating up. BMW's midsize iX3 SUV charges as fast as Gravity (400kW) but presumably with a smaller battery: https://insideevs.com/news/762995/bmw-ix3-fast-charging-video/

    Gravity PPF & Ceramic Coating

If you look at all of markleo's posts, it's pretty clear it's an LLM. I think the mods have been deleting its posts.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

The fob works pretty well for me with passive unlock enabled, unless I approach the car from the rear. In that case, once in a rare while I have to move a little to wake the car, or double-click it.

Not working Tesla wall charger but works with Tesla EVSE

Electrically, they are all the same. The differences are in construction details like conductor size, the latching mechanism, overtemp protection, etc. I have not seen the Amphenol product available at retail yet.

Kim Java Preview of the Lucid Gravity

Lucid, wisely, isn't aiming for "FSD". They are aiming for hands-free driving on highways, like Blue Cruise and SuperCruise.

Not working Tesla wall charger but works with Tesla EVSE

Definitely avoid non-US, no-name adapters. Get one from your car's manufacturer, Lectron, or A2Z. I tried the Air at a Tesla Supercharger a couple months ago after Gravity was already enabled. My Air would not charge. Our Volvo, using the same adapter, did. We have to wait until Lucid and Tesla...
