    Great Service

Seattle service center took my Air Dream (#38) in for service (screens sporadically going black, driver’s door occasionally not closing properly). They noticed a large stress crack in the rear windshield, which I did not even notice. They ordered a replacement and will install. While Lucid’s...

Any minds changed about getting Air due to this forum?

Software updates should be coming more quickly. Except for that, the car is amazing; lightning quick, quiet, luxurious and prettiest car on the road. No regrets whatsoever. Always looking for an excuse to take it out.

    Homelink

Closing the door, when driving away, is the issue.

    Homelink

Exactly. Coming home is easy; leaving not so easy.

    Homelink

Lucid software also needs to simplify the homelink button. We shouldn’t have to tap 4 icons to open/close the garage door. Recommendation to Lucid: Hire a CSO (chief simplicity officer).

    Radio buttons

I’m interested in other Dream owners experience with the radio buttons. To me, the sensitivity needs adjustment. It is too cumbersome to change the radio station, and my eyes are off the road way too long. Sometimes the tap/push works and sometimes it doesn’t. Also, getting all the favorite...

    Passenger Seat Memory

No just the seats. Facial recognition works, but it takes around 30 seconds. I’m the meantime, if my wife was the last driver, the seats so far up, I can’t get in the car. They key fob sometimes works to adjust the seats, but it’s hit or miss and there’s a significant delay. Hoped, this process...

    Passenger Seat Memory

I do love my Dream, but wonder why Lucid makes everything so complicated. My RAV4 has two buttons on the door. I hit one and it adjusts to me; the other to my wife. Tech should make things simpler, not more complicated.

    Range question

I am 3 months with my Dream. I have consistently received 70% - 75% of “remaining miles.”

Screen not working on car startup...

I've never seen this in 2+ months. Guess I missed one of the glitches.

    Tow hitch for bike rack?

I put by road bike in the trunk most days. Need to put back seats down and shimmy it in. Handlebars fit in the trunk’s “well.” Not optimal, but it works. I’d be very surprised if we ever get a toe bar bike rack option, as they would mess up the cameras. I think we’ll be stuck with a rooftop...

    Complete car

I too am getting really frustrated. I’m in month 3 with #38, and still don’t even have cruise control, let alone lane assist. The rep working with me tries to get info, but I think HQ is reluctant to give a timeline. Where is my dreamdrive for which I paid $170,000?

    Floor mats

The cream-colored floor mats are very attractive, but after two months, one of them is pretty trashed with yellow stains. Also, the cream-colored carpet below the front passenger floor mat also has a yellow stain. The wet Pacific NW is no place for white carpeting! I’ll keep trying to remove...

    Dream Drive being enabled?

100% agree. The car was released too early. Amazing performance, fun to drive, but way too many software glitches and boot-up delays. We need better communication from HQ disclosing shortcomings, and plans to fix/timeline to fix them. I hope they’re reading these posts.

    Dream Drive being enabled?

I did not get the email either. I too am very disappointed that the car was released without dreamdrive. I don’t even yet have cruise control, on a $170,000 car! I’m even more disappointed to now learn it could be a long time before highway lane feature is available. At the very least, this...

    Mileage on first road trip

Carnation, WA to I-90 east to I-82 to Wa-12 Walla Walla, and return. One mountain pass and lots of rolling hills.

    Mileage on first road trip

It could be something I’m doing, that I need to correct. Lucid’s service people are amazingly responsive. I do love driving this car.
