    Touring Delivery and Initial Impressions

Many thanks for the dialogue. I don't know what to say about the mobile key. On my phone, in the Lucid app, there is a little fob icon in the upper right. When I tap icon, I get the mobile key. I can't find a separate mobile key. It's not in my phone's wallet either. I could disable...

    Touring Delivery and Initial Impressions

Tim, is there a way to have the Lucid app and deactivate the mobile key? That would save me the drama with the car waking up every time I walk in the garage.

    Touring Delivery and Initial Impressions

It is my first "go-around" with a mobile key (and with a key fob, too). Thanks for the insight. I'll lean on the fob.

    Touring Delivery and Initial Impressions

Hi, all. Posting this for whatever it might be worth to the community. My advisor called me on 12/31/2022 and said he had a Touring for me. I had previously canceled my old Touring order and kept my Air order because the 2022 Touring deliveries HAD to come with bubble top, DDP, and SSP…..none...

First EA Charging Experience (sort of)

I see this has been discussed, but I’m posting for those in So. Orange County. I went to the EA location at the Irvine Spectrum today for my first ever public charge. Only two out of six stations were working. There were people waiting and general irritation. Sounds like the EA thing is a...

[Resolved] Brake release on hills, slopes, and inclines

Update #2. I took delivery of a the Touring on 12/31. Today, I tried to recreate the original problem, and unfortunately, I could. Same deal—while in reverse, I stopped halfway up the driveway and put on the brakes. When I let off the brake the car went forward about 15-20 feet (which is...

Last minute offer - am I missing something?

Hey! Thanks for the interest. Yes, it happened.

Last minute offer - am I missing something?

I did all cash. With this deal, they gave me SSP and DDP for ninety days for free. After ninety days, both shut off if I dont pay additional. This works out great because I didn’t really want either, and under the original contract, I would have been forced to take them if I wanted the car in...

Last minute offer - am I missing something?

Update at 1037 pm……I did It. My advisor showed up around six and left around nine. Went through the checklist, and it is sitting in my garage right now. I’m glad I did it. Got in under the wire for the tax credit and had the legacy pricing, too. Thanks, all, for the comments and suggestions.

Last minute offer - am I missing something?

My advisor called me today, and he said they had a few Touring models available RIGHT NOW. As in buy it today and get the $7500 credit. I have a Pure reserved under legacy pricing, and I will get the Touring pricing TODAY under the same legacy pricing.....~95k base. I hate to rush, but I...

I mark that in the “good” column!

    Spend 16k to save $7,500

Yep. Exact same scenario. Good luck to you.

    Spend 16k to save $7,500

I know, Bobby. It was a tough decision for exactly what you say. I had legacy pricing, too. But it was just getting a little out of hand :).

    Spend 16k to save $7,500

Heads up-Contrary to the original Lucid statement, one has to complete the Lucid purchase in 2022 to get the $7,500 tax credit. Complicating the matter is the fact that if you are buying a Touring model (like I planned), you MUST get it loaded (if you want it in time for the tax credit). The...

[Resolved] Brake release on hills, slopes, and inclines

Update: last week, Lucid rep came back, and we tried to recreate the problem. Or maybe better said, I wanted to see if I could learn to live with it. It turns out that the exercise was not needed. Our best guess is the the software update erased the issue. The car did great multiple times on...

[Resolved] Brake release on hills, slopes, and inclines

Is it something you learn to work around? Do you regret the purchase?
