Thanks for the reply. Before I was away on a road trip with the GT for 5 weeks the Juicebox 40 Smart Charging worked reliably. After the updates through 2.0.33 and returning home the Juicebox will only work with direct charging(charge now). Plugging in with the Smart Charging setting active...

I lost time of use option after updates…just noticed after being away on a road trip

My 40amp Juice Box worked flawlessly on “Smart Charging/time of use“ before I left and after updates, i can only use it with manual charging. When I plug in, I get an error message on the Lucid App “Charge cord error, please remove and re-plug in or use a different cord” …pleasant SA just told...

    Miles on arrival display

I’ve started using the settings button to navigate to the “vehicle “ button and opening up the “trip information “. The first line shows “since last charge “…miles driven, kWh used and “the miles/kWh!! Since it’s on the Pilot Panel, it reminds me of the ten years spent doing “energy management “...

Driving in a 40 mph gusting crosswind

And yes! Now that we have both cars electric, I only think of gas stations while on a road trip for bathroom breaks…. The rest of the time, I’ve stopped even seeing them! The first time I charged, very liberating, exciting and forward looking experience!

    EA charging issues

I just finished charging at a EA station near Phoenix (Anthem) that I had charged at a month ago and was greeted by 3 new 350 EA chargers. They all had one charging cord per station. Labeled “ItalDesign… very clean and having one cable, I’m sure that no one will be pulling up thinking that they...

Driving in a 40 mph gusting crosswind

Yesterday as we drove the return leg of a 1 month road trip to Santa Fe, we drove through a 40+ mph gusting 90 degree cross wind on Interstate 40 from Gallup to Flagstaff. Giant Tumble Weeds blowing across the road(thanks for PPE). The Driving experience was delightful….no need to steer with a...

    EA Megathread

Yes, My strategy also….lots of walks around and through large Walmarts while the charging happens. The Charging Infrastructures and technology are being imagined as we are driving. According to Kyle Connor, the EA chargers are being replaced with updated versions and with new partners (Siemens)...

Any one seen this frunk issue before?

This warning happened after I tried to open the Frunk after about 4” of snow…..It strained to open, wouldn’t open, seemed to close but the warning and annoying beeps begin. Since our trip into Santa Fe for groceries wasn’t time sensitive and the temperature was getting above freezing we waited...

Please critique my piece in Barron's

I have a theory that headlines and thin content like this exist to get readers to open up the article so that stats improve and ad revenue increases for the website.

    Range question

One or two considerations about mileage that I can share after a recent road trip from San Diego to Santa Fe: the first 50+ miles were driving over a few 4,000’ passes through the mountains early in the morning when temperatures were down in the low 30’s….miles per KWh were 2.0, driving down...

Yes the timbre of many of the postings is just below indignation …For me this is more of an FYI/heads up. Personally, I’m not disappointed and expect it to only get better with more “learning”. Awesome Car, amazing integration and potential beyond my imagination!
