These delays are giving the competition more room as they come to market, including Mercedes (EQS, EQS SUV), Hyundai (Ioniq 5, 7), Cadillac (Lyriq), etc. I was hoping to be able to get the Touring later this year as a one or two year transition to the Gravity, but it doesn't look good at this point.

That’s exactly what I did, went ahead and bought last month a Limited Ioniq 5, as a transition to either a Touring or better yet a Gravity. I’ll say more in a separate thread, but at about 60K the the Ioniq offers surprising luxury value.

That is exactly the correct description of the EQS, so great, now I’m never gonna be able to get that image out of my head whenever I see one, lol.

My view is that after spending over 100K for any newly produced car, either EV or not, shouldn’t have significant software or hardware issues. My 90K GLS450 was virtually perfect but boy was it boring. So I bought an Ioniq 5 as a placeholder EV, lots of fun and no significant issues so far but...

You might want to consider the Wallbox Plusar Plus, up to 48A, which has software ability to lockout use.
