    SA Contacted me

This is... really interesting. I need more information as my wife is currently considering the Taycan. Can I ask about the negatives in your experience?

    SA Contacted me

Supposedly got it a couple of weeks ago (GT). I really doubt I will change my mind, even with all the negativity these days and issues, I still think it beats a Tesla for what I am looking for. Even without the charging infrastructure.

    SA Contacted me

SA just called me and verified all my stuff is correct on my reservation. He seems to think I will be contacted tomorrow for confirmation. I also booked my test drive for next weekend (not this mother's day weekend)

    SA Contacted me

Dang. My SA said likely deliver by mid July, Early August. Starting to doubt that as I still have not received my email to even confirm my order.

This is cool. Thanks so much!

    Internet - Wifi - Spotify / Tidal / Alexa

I apologize if this has already been covered somewhere, I could not find it. Ok... I am somewhat confused with how the Lucid Air communicates to the internet. My Volvo XC 90 has a SIM card slot in the back for a "modem". I pay for an LTE connection so I can use my car's internet to listen to...

to charge or not to charge, that is the question...

The 150 vs 350 charger I have dismissed somewhat as I am sure there will be firmware upgrades to the Lucid that will allow quicker charging, and a better curve in the near future. I believe the video mentioned this as well. To my understanding, Lucid has limited the rate during the first while...

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

Yah, I have two cables now as well. When the "at Home" Lucid charger comes out with the ability to power my home, I will install that if they allow me to in Canada.

    Homelink

I am utterly disappointed that MyQ (Chamberlain / Liftmaster) does not integrate well with Alexa at all. This would ultimately be what I want (Alexa, Open Garage Door). It seems like it would be so easy. IFTTT only allows closing the door from what I have researched, not open.

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

Admittedly, I had the primary and secondary controller fuse blow on my Volvo T8. Vehicle would not charge at all (was nice that the ICE still worked!). It was all replaced under warranty, but it definitely is still a concern for me on other EVs. FYI, I was using only the standard cable that...

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

This. I am so glad this was brought up. On top of that... You never have to worry about a partially empty tank when you wake up in the morning and have to fill up on the way to work. I also know of Gas cars that claim a specific EPA rating, and fall short. Lucid hands down has best range...

    USB Ports

I was reading a comment regarding phone charging, and USB ports. Unfortunately, I have a large phone with a bulky case on it (which is difficult to remove). So my most likely option is to plug in. Does any one have any photos of the USB ports both in the front and back? I was hoping to find...

    Canada

Ouch... seems a little insane. Would be nice if they ever gave someone incentives for ev. However, not filling up a gas tank again is incentive enough for me.

    Canada

Wow... I did not even know about this... what a pain... no ev incentive... they are discouraging in this backwards country. Supposedly I should be for delivery in July. Unsure when this tax rolls out?

Likely the Lucid. Rivian I was more interested in the R1S. The fit and finish of the Lucid just seems more my speed. I was looking at the EQS but when I saw the horror story of the dealer market I was like... NOPE. My wife is still contemplating the Taycan. Tesla was never in the picture...

    Canada

Yah, I was bouncing between lucid and rivian, but once I heard the size of the battery pack on the rivian (and the range it provided) my mind was made up.

Congrats! Good luck on the wait. I have been looking forward to getting mine for some time. I am supposed to be getting a call to confirm within the next couple weeks. I will not hold my breathe, but I cannot help getting excited. I have been looking forward to this for 2 years!

    Range question

Hey... While I do not have my Lucid yet, I can tell you that my existing Volvo T8 PHEV preconditions off plugging in. So essentially the power is taken from the wall. The reason I know this is that if I plug into standard 110, 15a (8a-ish charge), it will NOT let me precondition as the vehicle...

19 vs. 20 vs. 21 tires for Touring

A lot of the vehicles that I have purchased in Canada in the past 10 years have not had a spare tire (they are usually sold with a tire repair kit).
