I highly doubt that there is a software fix to the HUD vertical range issue (depending on your Seat height). The resolution is likely a mechanical adjustment to components within the HUD module or complete replacement with new HUD that has more vertical software-adjustability.

I'll experiment more with my next set of tires. My Gravity is only at ~3300 miles.

Unfortunately, there aren't many "less-noisy" tire options for 21 inch wheels in 295-315 range.
