If it was working before the update, and not working after the update, the update is broken or the update broke something. Just because it didn't happen on every car, doesn't mean the problem isn't a bug that needs to be addressed.
I see it in other data from the car. Hard to say if it's:
a: bad data read in the car and getting sent to Lucid
b: Lucid's cloud/API filling in missing data with invalid values
c: The HA app misinterpreting data from the Lucid API.
Routing is one thing as it's different for all vehicles , but I should think at this stage in automotive history, reliable wiring connectors should be a solved problem no?
By all means, if you know a way to build a factory that can build 5,000 cars in a year and include the capacity to scale to build many, many more afterward without spending a billion dollars. I'm sure Lucid and every other auto manufacturer would love to hear it .
Then perhaps a software defined vehicle is not right for you.
Are you familiar with working on high voltage systems in electric vehicles? This isn't a "safely disconnect the 12v battery and you're fine" kind of vehicle in that respect. There are things in this car that WILL kill you if you do...
I also switched to the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 and they've been great (AT 20"). Had no problem in the snow on my trip up to upstate NY for New Year's, and they've been great in the rain down in Texas.
Feel like I lost MAYBE 10% dry weather grip, if that. Still launches like mad in Sprint...
Except that app doesn't necessarily know the CURRENT state of the lock until it wakes up the car and verifies. Until then, you just have a cached state of whatever the lock status was the last time the car communicated with the cloud , which may or may not still be accurate.
I think it's a real stretch to call this a safety issue to the degree that an official report needs to be made about it.
While the existing Air cup holders are a tad tight , they are perfectly capable of fitting 12oz cans, 20oz bottles and a large variety of cup sizes without spilling.
But...
Meanwhile my wife's Genesis GV60 has 8 fricken buttons, four along each edge. It's impossible to do anything so m at all without taking it out of your pocket and looking closely to find which button you need. You can't do anything at all by feel.
You are correct, anybody who says it needs no service is lying.
But almost every piece of the car that might break, is a piece that also exists a gas car. The main difference is that there are several significantly complex failure points of a gas car that do not exist in an EV, so in theory, in...
Parking Brake failure was the main issue. I also had them inspect the front suspension because of a nasty pothole hit I had, and had them do an alignment (a bit overpriced, but I didn't want the hassle of doing it elsewhere) and the 24k mile service.
Most of the time was spent waiting for a...
Personally I like the amount of moves back now, but recognize folks have different preferences.
It makes for a difficult choice for Lucid. I suppose they could make it adjustable but that might not be as simple to accomplish as it is to say .
I just got my Air back from Houston. They had it for 43 days, but the service advisors I worked with (Irving and Victoria) were responsive and helpful when I contacted them.
Doesn't CarPlay have the icon on the very top bar that can open/close the CarPlay screen? It works for AA.
Attached pic with the CarPlay icon (I think) in yellow, and the AA icon in red. If I tap the AA icon, it drops me right back to the native home screen, and if I tap it again it brings...
I noticed this as well and sent it to the [email protected] address. It gets too loud to quickly, so it's difficult to make small adjustments at low volumes. One of the few changes that I deeply dislike, along with the washed out background colors.
