    Home Assistant Automations

Thanks everyone for your patience, and thanks especially @opdx and everyone else for your contributions. Just released v1.4.2 of python-lucidmotors and v1.4.0 of the HA integration, and it works on HA 2026.10. Update the Lucid integration in HACS first, restart, then update HA core. If you...

    Lucid Air Cupholder NHTSA Complaint

No, but some complaints are entertaining. 🙃 Surely, you can agree that not all complaints are valid? Even if they represent someone’s lived experience? For example, someone feeling disappointed because they got 2nd place and not 1st might complain, but only sometimes is that complaint valid...

    UX 3.0 Feature Wishlists

You two are talking past each other. These are the things that are true: 1) There used to be a mi/kwh display on the left dash. 2) It was a straight multiplication of EPA range x SOC%. 3) The above facts meant that it was always wrong. 4) Gravity has a dynamic option that calculates it based...

    UX 3.0 Update

They were hard to reach on the right, even for me; but I agree that was better. There were many complaints though, I assume from people with shorter arms than me. :)

    UX 3.0 Update

I was emulating what I actually see, not taking a photo to try and exaggerate it. That much really is cut off from my seating position. How tall are you? I’m 5’9”

CCCv2 upgrade for Lucid Air using points discussion

Yup. Although, since one of my favorite classes in college was The Art of Approximation in Science and Engineering, I would’ve stopped at “it costs less than cash, as it is less than 100% tax” :p

    UX 3.0 Update

There used to be icons on the left side for home, media, etc. They have now extended CarPlay to take up the full possible width, so those icons are gone.

    3.0 on Air

If you pull up CarPlay with whatever app is playing (like Apple Music) it will show you the artwork. But no, it won’t show it in the media view for you while CarPlay is playing media. (This part isn’t new in the update, and has always been this way, iirc)

    3.0 on Air

Indeed: https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/tesla-lowers-range-estimates-us-regulators-tighten-vehicle-test-rules-2024-01-09/ So Tesla has decided to adjust their EPA ratings downward instead of having a default mode. Just a different compromise, but the law remains the same.

CCCv2 upgrade for Lucid Air using points discussion

Your calculations are fine but unnecessary, as it is below the $2000 de minimis threshold.
