No errors, but reduced regen and acceleration

They stopped after I walked away.... then 20 mins later I woke it up again, checked the regen setting (which had not changed) exited, and the fans were running like crazy until the car locked and shut itself down. I did not hear the high pitched whine fromn the front right, which is a new sound...

No errors, but reduced regen and acceleration

At the end of about an hour drive at 65-70 or so today, I noticed my regen was greatly reduced, and then as I approached my house it seemed like acceleration was reduced. Zero errors on the screens. I almost thought I had a low / flat tire the way it was driving but tires are fine. When I parked...

I've joined the club - Stopped at red light, rear ended in Napa

I'll update this thread with my progress to help the unfortunate souls that go after me. I do hear that the Lucid parts situation has improved but we will see. I'm hoping there's a.... uh... happy ending here.

    Kniesel’s Body Shop - Rocklin

Great to hear! Sounds like yours was jut paint etc so I wont ask about parts delays. Congrats on getting it fixed and back on the road!

    Kniesel’s Body Shop - Rocklin

Hey there, just wanted to check and see where you ended up going and how it went? Rocklin service team is awesome.

Your experiences on parts availability please...

Hi, I wanted to start a thread just on Lucid parts availability to find out what my Lucid brothers and sisters have experienced in the last few months with parts availability while their cars are in collision repair. I know it varies by part, and by model and by year, but my body shop quoted me...

I've joined the club - Stopped at red light, rear ended in Napa

It was last October, I think before SJ opened. I heard from one of the techs that a bunch were deployed to San Jose for training and startup which worsened Millbrae. I have had amazing experiences with Rocklin and mobile service. I do wonder if internal Lucid will have more luck getting parts....

I've joined the club - Stopped at red light, rear ended in Napa

That's interesting @borski ... I had a pretty bad service experience there (nice guys, overwhelmed) so I'm worried about getting sucked into the chaos there. What would you do?

I've joined the club - Stopped at red light, rear ended in Napa

I started shopping online for cars... BMW, Audi, Mercedes... and none of them have the exterior and interior beauty of the Air. I had said "if it's totalled, no more Lucid, the software sucks" but then.... I started looking what's out there and there's nothing like it. Come on Lucid, get it...

I've joined the club - Stopped at red light, rear ended in Napa

On Friday 6/26/2026 I was driving mid-day from Marin County to Napa in my Air. There was a Gravity driving "with" me and we kept swapping positions based on traffic. If you're on this forum, it was nice driving with you. I was enjoying my car, the music was good, and I was stopped at a light...

    Air software version 2.10.0

I'm guessing their graphic designer was laid off.

    iPhone As A Key

I do love my Lucid Air 2026. Fun to drive. Lots of glitches and software problems as we have all discussed ad nauseum. I was thinking the other day - if the iPhone key would just work reliably, like it did for my Tesla for 7 years, I could overlook all the other stuff (well unless I get that...

    Air Version 2.9.0

I just installed 2.9 the other day, and after the initial issues with the app, frankly I have noticed no difference driving. It's possible that it's remembering the last song I was listening to, but this morning it said it was playing that song but there was no audio. I had to go into Spotify...

    Air Version 2.9.0

To fix this, delete the app (assuming iPhone) and reinstall. The battery drain will return to normal on your phone. This also periodically happens with Instagram.

    Air Version 2.9.0

Your opinion. Noted. I will react how I want to react to a $90,000 vehicle that has constant "glitches", some minor, some serious. Time's up, Lucid. Figure it out.

Engineering Explained joining the Lucid Lemon Club

So let me get this straight. The PR brains at Lucid decided to give him a Gravity - which makes the Air look like a highly-functioning stable piece of machinery? And they thought that would go well? Did anyone else see this coming...Lucid desperately needs new leadership and new talent. *facepalm*

    Air Version 2.9.0

Ok against my better judgment I went ahead an updated to 2.9.0.... app wont connect to car says "battery very low charge now" even though it shows battery at 68%. This is the new improved software team?!? I'm thinking it's just the old software team after 50% were laid off. Beyond frustrated...

    Air Version 2.9.0

Learn something new every day... you would think that if that's the case the software would auto install on day 29... but that would take competent programmers which clearly they are still in search for. I've been patient with this car but at this point, there is just no excuse for the software...

    Air Version 2.9.0

As much as I would love to play Russian Roulette with my Lucid software, I think I'll wait on 2.9 for a while. Any software team that bricks a part of a fleet doesn't have my confidence. Really worried about the future of Lucid.

    Air Version 2.9.0

I'm just back from a 2 week trip to Europe and my Air is on 2.8.30. It's asking me to update, but based on what I am reading, I should decline, is that correct? Thanks.
