Excellent service from Lucid's new body shop in Millbrae

Yes for now it's part of the Millbrae service center. I believe it's splitting off at some point soon. $6500 sounds pretty steep to me. Repairing significant damage to the back end of my car was something like $26,000

Excellent service from Lucid's new body shop in Millbrae

It's not well-known yet (Rocklin service didn't know when I called them) but Lucid quietly opened up a body shop in Millbrae and has been scaling it up. They did an amazing (10/10) job on my body work. Someone rear ended my vehicle at a traffic light at the end of June, and I initially took it...

Where is UX 3.0 for the Air?

I just returned from Bangkok where I rode around in $20,000 Chinese EV's with incredible software and suspension. Charging stations all over Bangkok. Flawless software from what I observed. On this forum we kind of act like it's this huge ask to just have a car whose basic functions are stable...

Your experiences on parts availability please...

Based on my discussions, no. Service centers get the parts faster. The body shop I spoke with complained of long delays getting parts, and then damaged parts arriving after those long delays. Service center, zero issues.

Your experiences on parts availability please...

My experience alone: parts availability has not been an issue. 24-48 hour waits for parts. Totally normal / best in class frankly.

Your experiences on parts availability please...

Actually, I did get into an accident a couple weeks ago and that has not been my experience. I am going to give a full summary once the car is repaired but it's not necessarily true that parts take 3-5 weeks. Mine did not and I had $18,000 of damage.

Second Service Center visit for my Air GT

I'm in the middle of what I think is going to be a very good experience and I can't wait to write about it once my vehicle is returned.

    Collision damage repair in Charlotte

I just looked up the Lucid Body Shop in Hickory, and they offer concierge pick up and drop off: https://kandmcollision.com/concierge-pick-up-and-delivery/ I have yet to ever see a Lucid service center in person. Mine has flatbedded in twice, and now is in the body shop for an accident. Good...

Bricked - no one picks up support phone

You're next to Rocklin.... they are a great service center. We have AAA so I would just call them and tow it to Rocklin. But I hear you... and it concerns me. I hope someone from Lucid leadership monitors these forums. I know I read them extensively before I signed my lease last fall.

No errors, but reduced regen and acceleration

I had a missed call from Lucid Roadside assistance earlier in the week but they did not leave a mesage. I would like to think that was them, and wonder why they didn't leave one or send an email. I could have been stranded on a freeway. I did tell my friend with an Air to proactively call and...

No errors, but reduced regen and acceleration

@socktucker for the win.... there's a service bulletin out on the water pumps for the 2026 Airs made middle of last year, and mine falls into that group. Rocklin was able to pull the error log so now not only is it in the body shop, but they are also going to fix the pumps. It happened a second...

Louvers are opening and closing just fine... super cool watching them do that. (OK, not gonna cancel Netflix but I was watching them open and close for a good 10 mins)

No errors, but reduced regen and acceleration

I was today years old when I found out there are louvers that open. Chat GPT told me where they are. Have you checked yours? Here's how GPT told me to check mine, does this sound accurate? How To Test The Louvers Park the car, leave it awake, and set the climate control to LO with the fan at...

No errors, but reduced regen and acceleration

Yes, but... I do this same drive all the time and it was an hour in 85 degree heat so definitely not pushing to extremes. I have noticed the fan running a lot more since the latest software update and am wondering if the update changed the fan / cooling behavior somehow.

No errors, but reduced regen and acceleration

Yes it was. Today the vehicle seems to be back to normal. Maybe it just needed a good night's rest after its big drive on the freeway. :)
