I just got my Air GT back from the Coldwater, Michigan Service Center. This was the second visit there for the car. For both visits Lucid sent a trailer to my home with a loaner vehicle. Both times the loaner was an Air Touring. The first time when my car was finished they returned my car to my driveway and picked up the loaner via trailer. For this most recent service I decided I wanted to drive the loaner back to the Coldwater Service Center for a couple reasons. My car will be out of warranty soon and I may have to make decisions on when and where to have repairs done. I'd like to have confidence in the repair center, especially if its 2 hours away.

First service visit was to recalibrate the latches and motors for my frunk and to perform a couple cosmetic requests (sill plaques and bumper emblem). This time the issue was that I was getting a "Low Brake Fluid" warning and the friction brakes were not operating correctly. The regen braking was working fine but pressing the brake pedal was tricky. Lucid picked the car up on Monday, July 13th and dropped off the loaner. Thursday I received a call that the repair was complete. But since I was leaving town at dark-thirty Friday morning I knew I wouldn't be able to pick it up until today (Tuesday).

Drove the loaner out to Coldwater. Averaged just over 4.0 mi/kWh on the trip there. Pretty good. The center is smaller than I thought it would be and everyone there was hard at work, so I didn't want to get in the way. I did get a chance to meet Jason, whom I've communicated with frequently over phone, text, and email. Jason and Tyler (the tech / driver that has picked up and delivered vehicles to my home) have been the face of Lucid service for me and they are doing an excellent job in my opinion. Drove my car back and averaged 3.6 miles/kWh. Not bad for a 5,200 lb car. Should also note that I have removed the wheel aero covers and still have the cross beams on the car.

All in all, a really good experience.

Good experiences outweigh the bad, but the bad gets most coverage.

My experiences has been fantastic!

I'm in the middle of what I think is going to be a very good experience and I can't wait to write about it once my vehicle is returned.
