    Service

Surprised Lucid didn’t give you a boom box and paper map and send you on your way.

    Service

Gasskiller, you need to stop chastising people for complaining about issues with Lucid on this site. Complaining about valid issues is a prime reason for this forum and just because your experience may be different, they have a right to vent. Also, Lucid is supposedly, from reports, making...

90 day wait for Denver Service

OP has every right to complain about poor service. I am also way tired of people making excuses for Lucid and claiming that the service issue is being worked on and will be fixed soon. This has been an issue for many areas of the country for most of this year and is showing no signs of...

    Lucid Air Cupholder NHTSA Complaint

The cup holders in Gravity are not much better. Last week I had a standard 12oz Diet Coke can in cup holder. Went to pull it out and cup holder was very grippy and I had to pull pretty hard and when it finally broke loose, spilled all over me. Most manufacturers use a hard plastic type holder...

    Automatic Headlights

Coincidence that the car I was referencing in my post (my first high school family car driver) was an Olds Delta 88 with 455.

    Automatic Headlights

Yes, Air only has auto bright dimming headlights that sense when there is car ahead of you (coming at you or going away from you) and then turns off brights. This is similar to what many cars in US have had for many years. Gravity (if you have Dream Drive Premium or Pro) has adaptive matrix...

Dream drive pro and autonomy subscription

One major difference between DDP on the AIr and DDP2 on the Gravity is that the Gravity will be getting the NVIDIA -Point to Point self drive system in the near future that will give you “hopefully” similar to Tesla FSD experience. The DDP on the Air is done with major future improvements other...

    AR HUD

It’s on the same 10 year development cycle as the new Tesla Roadster. But when it finally does arrive, it will give you a visual experience as if your Gravity is flying.

    NACS Megathread

Here in Texas I tend to stick with Buccee’s when roadtripping. Most of the big Buccee’s on the interstates have huge banks of Tesla SCs and many also have Mercedes new high voltage DCFCs. I rarely roll in at low charge but usually closer to 40-50% while stopping for bathroom and refreshment...

    NACS Megathread

To be fair, I am 90% certain that the fault for my plug and charge issues lies with Lucid.

    NACS Megathread

I thought it might be a temporary glitch at first but it has happened at every Tesla SC over the past 10 months (about 7 times total). Ultimately it is not a big deal as it is easier to pull up the Lucid app than it would be to download and set up another app. EA chargers are very scarce here...

    NACS Megathread

Have had my Gravity almost a year now. First EV and new to DCFC. I do 95% of my charging at home and have only used DCFC on a couple longer road trips using primarily Tesla superchargers. I have Tesla charger authorized in my car but every time I plug in to a Tesla SC, I get a “An additional...

    Service

That add about the “new” mobile service is actually quite a few months old and has had zero impact on improving service times (at least in Texas). And no you still can’t book service on the app, at least not for the Houston SC.

Out of Spec roadtrips Gravity and DDP2 has some issues

Right now, Tesla FSD is orders of magnitude better than any other “Currently Available” consumer ADAS. Hopefully they will get some significant competition from Lucid, Mercedes, Rivian (and possibly some others) in the next year. But until those systems go live, it is just speculation. My...

"Engineering Explained" Takes Another Swipe at Lucid

Warning… Getting a service appointment at the Houston SC is only the first challenge. Plan on your vehicle being there for 3-4 weeks for what appears to be a simple repair.

Crack in the windshield? Houston, we have a problem.

If as your post title implies, you are from Houston, then you will find it extremely difficult to get any response from the Houston SC. Recommend that you call Lucid’s main Customer Service number and see if they can help.

Lucid Houston Service center has had my gravity for 60 days without 1 scrap of information

Welcome to the Houston service center. The worst Lucid service center in the country. Love my Gravity but if things don’t change significantly at Houston SC, I will probably move on from Lucid when my lease ends. Yes, adding Dallas SC should help things but I think there are significant...

    "Welcome to Gravity" video

A full year and half after the April 2025 advertising video, and Gravity still does not have half of the highlighted features in that video. Nowhere in the video is the work “planned feature”. In fact it even says “available AR HUD”. There should be a law that requires manufacturers to insert...

Is there anyone who likes the GRAVITY GRAND TOURING H.U.D..

HUD is OK but with the exception of blind spot warning lights, it is just repetitive of what is on main dash display. Way overpriced for what it currently delivers. Just got done watching a review of new Porsche Cayenne EV which has an AR HUD that is exponentially better than current Lucid HUD.

Update regarding Phone as a Key availability for Gravity owners

The criminal part is that Lucid continues to sell “AR HUD” on new cars with what appears to be no plan to ever deliver it to customers.
