Not working Tesla wall charger but works with Tesla EVSE

Also, my plug doesn't lock in. Is that normal? I know my Polestar locks the adapter in and the adapter has a manual lock for the Tesla plug. It's been over a year since I charged my X with this same adapter, but I'm pretty sure the handle was locked after I inserted it.

Not working Tesla wall charger but works with Tesla EVSE

Othere than showing the red error message for a few seconds when I plug in, mine charges fine at the 40A (50A) setting that I have.

Not working Tesla wall charger but works with Tesla EVSE

It wouldn't have in either case because it was delivered with 95ish% SoC and I had the limit set to 80%. So, instead I upped the charge limit to 90% and manually started the charge and it charged just fine to 90% in about an hour or so and stopped just as configured. Then it would wait an hour...

Not working Tesla wall charger but works with Tesla EVSE

Sorry to wake up an old thread. Just got my GGT home and plugged in my Tesla Gen 2 wall connector set to 40a (50a breaker, NEMA 14-50, rotary switch set to 50a breaker/40a max output). It told me to unplug and plug back in. I came in to research here and read this thread telling me to set the...

    Referral questions

Fer sure! But I still felt like "Wait, that's a thing?" Kind of like all those Tesla Roadsters you see on the road after gobs of "influencers" easily accumulated the number of referral points to earn a free one, quite surprising the management. Why you can't swing a dead cat in the Bay Area...

    Referral questions

And the winner is! My sales manager? Apparently my car is arriving today or tomorrow so I just talked to my SA and she said that they've already applied a "manager's referral(?)" and it doesn't combine with a customer referral. Bad news for accessory discounts and forum friends, but apparently...

QUESTION Questions about leasing a GGT

According to that chart 0% APR is available on all Lucid Gravity, but in the inventory search it only shows up for MY '26. Did they forget to mention the 2026 requirement or is it available for 2027, but only in Studio?

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I've recently switched from the 2026 in Philly that seems to be having trouble finding a truck to ship it... To a newer 2027 build coming from the Arizona factory. OK, so all that stuff I said about "ewww, Tahoe, it's sooo ... orange!". Yeah, um, don't ask me what color the new config is. I'll...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I'd really love to get into something that doesn't make my hip ache, but that will at least satisfy their delivery deadline for the current incentives (though those incentives may just get renewed anyway). Does it help if I call up my SA every five minutes and ask "Are we there yet?"

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I just ordered an inventory vehicle that is apparently on the East Coast (Pennsylvania) while I'm on the West Coast (SF area). I'm seeing no updates on the order indicating that it is being shipped and the SA advised me that it can take a while to get a truck driver that can do point to point...

    Is Lucid styling the problem?

Here in the SF Bay Area where you'd think there would be a lot of Polestars, there are only 2 dealers that have maybe 1 mechanic that can work on them. While hopefully they will continue to be invested to at least that level, the wait time for any service is around 3 months. "Your car is...

    Is Lucid styling the problem?

Cars either came with the new processor installed or could get it via a free upgrade. There are also slight differences between NA vs China built vehicles, but none of them affect basic SW reliability. But all (including myself) report that the main issues are still there on the new processor...

    Is Lucid styling the problem?

For the Polestar 3 you gave it a green face for SW stability which is absolutely not true. Owners reboot habitually a couple of times a week. Half the time the microphone doesn't work requiring a 40 second (reboot gesture) salute to have only an 80% chance to get it back. It has occasional...
