My loaner does this too, fyi. Of note: it has always brought the screen down when cameras are on, especially in reverse, for example. Cameras are on only at low speeds, obviously. My guess is simply that logic needs checking, as it may have lost the “and cameras are on” part of that.

I understand your frustration. That said, they may be able to hold on to your vehicle and provide you with a loaner during that time, since this is a very very annoying way to drive. So consider calling them and asking for a loaner during the time until they fix the issue.
