Went out for a few runs last night 😎 Still have my 19" winter Pirellis on and got lots of wheel spin so wasn’t expecting anything spectacular as far as numbers but I actually think this is pretty decent considering.

I find that my drivers side ventilated seat works really well but for some reason the passenger side just doesn’t cool as well… I can hear the fans turning on but it just doesn’t seem to flow as much air as the drivers seat.

Today for the first time when I put my Grand Touring in sprint mode I noticed a faint whirring or buzzing noise, even when the car isn’t moving. It only goes away when you take it out of sprint or if you put it in park. Was this noise there all along and I didn’t notice it or is thus something...

Also if you look closely there are 2 cracks that approximate each other One in the inside of the glass and one on the outside

I looked at that and it doesn’t. Also I did not open or close the trunk recently. But it’s not really close to the hinge it’s further back in the "corner" of the glass.

Damn this also just happened to me :( Obviously no impact or anything to explain it. The car was sitting in front of my house all day in the hot sun and when I went to drive it to the grocery store I notice this massive crack. Only thing I can think of is contracting and expanding materials...

Actually for a straight line acceleration (example 1/4 mile) lighter smaller diameter wheels with sticky meatier tires with more sidewall is desirable… as long as they clear the brakes

Track insurance will depend on the value of the car you’re insuring. When I was tracking my C6 Z06 corvette I declared a value of 50k$ and it was usually 300$ or so for the day. That being said if you’re only doing HPDE course it might not even be necessary to get insurance but if it can help...

I actually thought the Lucid performed pretty well for having all seasons 10.9 @ 127 mph is nothing to be ashamed of With good traction 127 mph is good for deep 10’s for sure a 10.6 or 10.7

As the dyno operator mentioned it may even be slightly underrated. By now we have a few 1/4 mile runs from a stock GT and they typically trap about 127mph (really good trap speed) so from the trap speed and the weight (assume a 150lb driver for a 5350 lb approximate race weight)...

Don’t know if it’s been posted but here is a video of a baseline dyno of a GT with 21" wheels. Made 693 to the wheels. Nice numbers imo considering it was a mustang dyno (numbers read typically low)
